After a long wait, we finally have the first appropriate trailer for the 5 "Stranger Things" season, which is scheduled to mark the end of the long-lasting retro-science-fi juggernaut on Netflix. The trailer is almost three minutes of climate action and emotional teasing, collecting a lot of right where End of Season 4 of "Stranger Things" left. Max (Sadie Sink) is still in a coma, Hawkins quickly reflects the power of the venue for centuries (Jameimi Campbell Bauer), and things look serious. Fortunately, the old team is finally all black together to defend their home.

Since it is "Stranger Things", you know there will be a licensed song in the trailer. And in this case, it is a bit of iousubopitic traction, because the chosen path has been since 1970 than since the 1980s. If you are a fanbayer of the seminal British rock band Deep Purple, you will recognize an arrangement of their 10-minute "kid's time" that playing in the background. It is a kind of song that last season Eddie Monson (Josephosef Quinn) was likely to listen regularly, and while that character is unfortunately no longer with us, he gets a small shout at one point during the new trailer.

"Child of Time" is a widespread opus on the nature of living under a nuclear threat during the Cold War. Given the battle coming for Hawkins (one who has a fully equipped US military in the trailer, as well as all of our main characters jumping into action), the tone of foretelling seems to be appropriate.

If you are a Netflix loyalist (do they exist?), Especially from the strange science fiction, you may have heard a "child in time" elsewhere at Strimmer. The short -lived series of 2022 "1899" was moving just one season before Netflix to cancelBut there was a similar tone to "Stranger Things" in some way, joining the scientific horror with heavy elements of mystery and a major role of characters. "Child of Time" plays at the end of the second episode of that show, as new horrors and enigmas are introduced to the ship where the story takes place.

"A cute kid on time," sings Jan Gillan on the track, "you'll see the line / line drawn between / good and bad." The song eventually turns into a kind of aggressive release anchored by duels guitar and organic chops, along with a scream of Gillan's signature.

In the context of the new season "Stranger Things", this seems to fit. There is a bad man coming, "shooting in the world / flight bullets", as Gillan sings, and with the final of the series coming in this installment, there should be a tragedy and some catharsis before it ends.
