Big Bang's theory deliberately avoids resolving some of the conditions of Sheldon Cooper (Jimim Parson). Of course, certain things are understood, and viewers do not need an exhibition to understand that. However, the series also definitely makes it clear that it is a hypochondriac and a German that should have asthma. That said, his asthma can be the product of his health anxiety (or bad writing), as evidence says otherwise.

In Season 3, "Corllary Corolary Boots", Leonard (Nyoni Galecki) thinks the cat will distract Penny (Kaili Cuoco) a hot man dating. However, Sheldon opposes the idea because it is allergic to ignition. However, Leonard assures that the one he loves is a hypoallergenic calico developed by a geneticist in San Diego, so Sheldon should not worry about sneezing.

After all, Leonard decided not to buy the cat after Penny agreed to grab the dinner with him. While the date (if you can even call it so) does not go according to the plan, he makes peace with the fact that she is not interested in him at this point in time. As such, he does not get a cat and we do not find out whether the fall will activate Sheldon asthma - though another episode proves that Sheldon's allergy claims may have been saturated.

The aforementioned episode has made us believe that it cannot be around the cons, but the "sustainable substitution" of Season 4 proves differently. In this, he adopted several cats after Amy Farah Fowler (Maim Biakik) threw him, and not once he showed signs of asthma.

To give the creators of the show to give a favor to doubt, however, we can claim that Sheldon has exaggerated when he said he had asthma. Its hypochondrial nature means that he always assumes the worst when it comes to his health, and maybe he thought he was allergic to cats, just to realize that it was not when adopted some to cope with the pain.

Keep in mind, Big Bang's theory made other significant changes in Sheldon As the series progressed, so he surpassed the aversion to cats - and realized that they were not ill - not above the sphere of possibility. At the same time, the history of the show's inconsistencies and character suggests that the creators may have returned this story, so we will never know for sure.
