Brad Pitt's F1 He got strong views and opened up for an impressive start of box office, but naturally, that success does not mean that the film is entirely accurate for real Formula One races. Of course, director Josephoseph Kosinski took out some of the most of Technically impressive and aesthetic scenes with racing Sometimes filmed in the genre, and those set pieces are absolute highlights of the film. But real races in those sequences, as well as the bigger story, do not always make sense.

It's all in good fun, of course, and when was the last time a sports movie was actually 100% lined with this sport? There are no qualifications in F1. There are moves that make no sense in F1. But don't just take my word for it - take it from the right drivers doing the job.

"For the hardcore fan and journalists, we will see things that can be a little too much American or a little too much Hollywood," said Williams driver Carlos Sainz Motorsport After the early screening of the film attended by current F1 drivers. "But I sincerely enjoyed the whole movie." That feeling - that many things may not have been entirely accurate, but that the film as a whole was fun and good for the sport - most drivers shared on the net. "We see it as Formula One drivers and we always try to see all the little details that are not exactly (accurate)," said Charles Leclerc at Ferrari, "But that's just very Hollywood and I think it's really cool because it's not for F1 drivers, it's for a wider audience."

Anyone who race on the Formula One network seems to understand that every Hollywood movie based on their sport will take some creative freedoms. However, the interest in exposing F1 to a larger audience and the spirit of paying tribute to the sport seems to be more important in the eyes of drivers.

"I think some of the fundamental values of the film, among the dynamics among teammates, are very well shown," Alpine racer Pierre Gasley told Men's health. Isaac Hajjar of the Racing Bulls team was slightly less positive, coming out of his screening when talking with Moto. "It's hard to give feedback like drivers because we're really critical," he said, "but if you're a kid or someone who doesn't know about sports, I think it's the best way to start." Many drivers, such as the Hass F1 team, Olli Barman, praised the technical achievement of the scenes in the race in such an intense and fast way. "He made people want to watch F1," Barmer told Motorspor, "what is really the purpose of it. The board of the board and the work they did actually was quite incredible."

Legendary F1 driver Louis Hamilton has earned a credit producer for his consulting work, so not everything shown in the film is a pure fantasy. The dramatic moments are truly - accidents, reckless driving (which will surely be punished strongly in real sport) and the comeback of the substrate - stretching the boundaries of realism in the film.
