Note: The first episode of "Dexter: Resurrection" is now moving to Paramount+ Premium, and Showtime debuts at 8pm this week. This post contains spoilers For the premiere episode.
Showtime was unstable about Michael F.'s eponymous killer. Hall, who stays alive in the Dexter finalAnd now we know why. The popularity of the character among viewers means that he can always return to more slaughter -filled adventures, and that was just a matter of time as long as the butcher Bay Harbor did not hit him again. The Renaissance series, "Dexter: New Blood", caught by Dexter Morgan years after using his own death, revealing that he had moved from Miami to a small town, where he lived under a fake alias. It was just a matter of time, until he appeared in trouble again, and the series ended with his son firing in his chest and leaving him dead.
"Dexter: Resurrection" is collected immediately after these events, and some of the past blasts are returning to give our anticho lesson for parenting. Episode 1 opens with Dexter in a coma and his spirit seemingly stuck in the kingdom between the living and the dead, where he visits him Arthur Mitchell (Johnon Litgov), aka Trinity killer, Miguel Prado (Jimi Smiths), the Jameses Doax (Eric King) and his old man Hari Morgan (Jamesesi Remar), all who share words of wisdom and forced Dexter to realize that he must return to the world of living and be a good father of his son who tried to kill him.
It has to be an argument that these characters have been returned only to provide a nostalgic service for fans-particularly doakes, which opens the conversation with his forever-zero line, Motherf *** ER. " What the "Dexter: Resurrection" brings forward. That said, there is a character from the original series that risks becoming a thorn on Dexter's side as he tries to continue his life.
One of Dexter's best friends may be his deterrent in Dexter: Resurrection
Angel Batista (David Zajas) is regular through all Eight seasons of the original "Dexter", And the Kudy Detective has a great relationship with the title of serial killer. Dexter's psychotic predispositions mean that he is struggling to form significant relationships in a traditional sense, but he comes through an angel when it is important-as the time when the ex-girlfriend of Dexter, however, Lila West (IMEEM Murray), tries to set him an angel for a crime. Angel, on the other hand, sees Dexter as his best friend, but their relationship can become tight on "Dexter: Resurrection" if episode 1 is something to pass.
Seasonal premiere sees Angel down Dexter and asks why he falsified his death and assumed a new identity. After the little conversation is out of the way, Angel tells Dexter that he received a call from chief Angela Bishop (Iaulia Onesons), informing him of his best butcher for Bay Harbor, only to step down during their next conversation. He then remembers the time when Maria Laguerta (Luna Lauren Velez) said with confidence that she thought Dexter was the butcher, leading to him to educate him as the Jameses Dox - Cop, framed for the killer - he used to call him creep. The conversation ends with an angel telling his old friend that he had pulled several wires to restore his true identity, suggesting that he was out of prosecution of Dexter.
While returning characters are essential to help Dexter find his will to live again, an angel can make him regret for that decision. Dexter's old paler is on it, adding real tension in the series, and it should be fascinating to see how the butcher gets out of this situation.
