Those who are familiar with author Tom Robbins are likely to understand how unusual his books tend to be and how non-constructive appear to be on the film adaptation. He wrote his second novel, "even the cowboys got the blues", in 1976, and was considered striking by readers, a kind earlier, more pleasant version of Ken Casey.

The main character, Sisi, was born with abnormally large thumbs stretching to her fingers on the index. Her thumbs, it turns out, make an outstanding hithicker, giving her Her to give her almost super -control vehicles. It aims to hit New York to become a model for a powerful tampon company, supervised by a nimble man who goes according to the Countess title (Johnon Hurt).

In the book, Sisi married a young, handsome man at Mohawk named Jululian. In the adaptation of Van Sant, Reeves is played by Jululian, although he plays a smaller role. Sisi meets him in Newouble, but the two have no real flying, which is different from the book. He only remains the man he wants. Later in the film, Sisi will have an affair with bisexual cowboy Bonanza Jellyeban (Rain Phoenix). The two have their own things with a sage with a cave playing The Starvala "Karate Child" Pat Morita.

The plot is really weird. After Sisi models for the Countess, she moves to his "beauty ranch", called Rubber Rose Ranch, supervised by Jellybean. Cowboys living there are hellish to drug trafficking in the crane (!), So they stop migrating and staying out of danger. Shelves and other agencies are all trying to attack the ranch, but women scare them with their, ah, female scents. The picture ends with a shootout.

"Even Cowboys" are seasoned with homes of significant actors, besides Reeves, such as Ed Begli, Runior, Angie Dickinson, Rosan Arnold, John Young, Heather Graham, Carol Caine, Udo Kier, Lynn Jay and Edward James. Ken Casey plays a small part, and William S. Barrows (which also appeared in the "Cowboy of the Pharmacy" of Van Sant) has Ammoto like himself.
