This article contains spoilers for "M3GAN 2.0".
"M3GAN" is a film about the nuances and traps of parenting, with the technology guru, Gemema (Allison Williams), creating an artificially intelligent doll, M3Gan (Ami Donald and Enena Davis), essentially taking over her parental duties. In a real Hal 9000 she meets Jaki Fashion, does not go well, because the M3Gan becomes self -conscious and goes to killing lengths to try and finish its purpose. This month sequel, "M3GAN 2.0" (Read our review here), sees that the titular robot begins to grow and develop besides her initial programming, an evolution that is a metaphor for every developing child, as well as the one in tandem with the "sister" of M3Gan, Kadi. Like any young person, bathtubs are hungry for role models outside her own family unit, and given her history of development, it would not be a surprise if she chose the one who was a little ... Strange.
Enter Steven Sigal. Military artist in Lansing, Michigan, born in Michigan, found his way to become an action movie Starvara during the genre boom of the 80's and 90'sWorking on the road from a fight coordinator thanks to his impressive physical skills. While his acting talents have never been outstanding, Sigal's naturally intense presence helped him craft a person on the screen, the one who served him well in films like "hard to kill", "marked for death" and "out for justice". His collaboration with director Andrew Davis resulted in his two best films, "Above the Law" and "Under Siege". However, all of these successes happened in the early 1990s, and by the end of that decade, Sigal's Seaver fell significantly, largely thanks to his continuous bad attitude and behavior that received his reputation. It takes a lot to be considered the worst host of "Saturday Night Live" of all time, Not only with this very web site but from The creator of "SNL" Lorn Michaels!
So, while Cady's heroic worship of the stupid Seagal in "M3Gan 2.0" is largely played for laughter, it ends up to have a pretty great blow, the one that resonates with the image of Cady, as well as the film themes.
'M3GAN 2.0' advises its cap on one of the most memory moments of cinema violence
In "M3Gan 2.0", bathtubs grow and tries to pass its traumatic experiences from the first film in mostly healthy ways. She still sees a therapist, Lydia (Amy Urwood, repeats her role), trying to follow her aunt's footsteps by following her interest in computer design, and she is busy studying martial arts. However, instead of Bruce Lee or even Billy Blanks, Kadi chose Sigal as her spiritual mentor, and sometimes the strong attitude of the Starvala and the fast nature in her. However, it turns out that her Loveube to Seagal ends to pay off when counting, because Gemma (with little production of M3GAN) uses the knowledge of bathtubs for Seaagal films to inspire her to disarm Sociopath Christian (Aristotle Atari) ... literally.
In 1988 in "Above the Law" in 1988, Seagal was played by Nicolo "Nico" Tuscany, a military artist recruited by the CIA (conspiracy for which Sigal's claims are based on his real life, which is definitely necessary). During his service, Nico runs to another CIA agent, Kurt Zagon (Henry Silva), who has a huge power to torture prisoners. A few years later, Zagon entered some criminal activities, and only Nico could stop. He did so in a way that became a calling card for the brand of violence on the Seagal screen, breaking as much bones as possible. In the climate struggle scene of the film, Nico holds the hand of Zagon and breaks herbending the accessory far enough in the wrong direction that looks like a wet noodle.
This hand break has become literally a meme in the early days of the internet and is still used occasionally as a visual punctuation of social media. Remaining respect for both Seagal and "Above the Law" on the stage on stage, Kadi is inspired to break Christian's hand in the same way, ending the transformation of all three major characters into heroines striking bosses. Satire inherent in both films "M3Gan" is obviously in the bathtub to choose a role model one of the most stupid stars of action with perhaps the poorest reputation. However, just as the M3Gan itself can develop and find some well in itself, and the bathtubs and "M3Gan 2.0" find a certain value in the work of Steven Sigal. (There is simply no rehabilitation "Strug", However.)
