After more than a decade of adventures with the most qualified killer in the world, the Johnon Wick franchise is finally moving over G -Din Vick and Keanu Reeves. Lionsgate has released "Ballerina", aka "from the world of Won Vick: Ballerina", the first spin-off in the larger Won Wick Universe. (JWCU is not the official name of Lionsgate, but that is clear what they are looking for here.) While Reeves appears in the movie like Johnon WickThe film is mostly in the center of the new protagonist, Eva Makaro, played by Anna De Armas.

As anyone who has ever seen some of the Johnon Wick movies can certainly tell you, these films are practically flooded with interesting accompanying characters, and director Len Wismman maintains that tradition with "ballerina". One such character that Eve meets on his journey of revenge is Daniel Pine, No one other than Daryl Dixon himself, the Starvala "The Walking Dead" Norman Ridus.

The film itself focuses on Eve, a member of the ballerina, turned into an asassin of a Russian Roma, who first met briefly in "Won Vick: Chapter 3-Parabelum", which demands revenge for her father's death, which happened in the hands of a mysterious cult of killers. Despite the director (Angelika Huston), advising her not to take any action, Eve tries to find her father's killers after making an agreement and found a famous mark on the wrist of one of the men she killed.

This is where Riedus and his character Daniel come into play. Given Winston (Ian Mac Jane), Eve travels to the Prague continental to see a man who was part of this cult. Daniel is trying to avoid the cult along with his young daughter Ella (Ava Oyous McCarthy), and this is when we see Reeds Kick A..

Eva faces Daniel in his hotel room in the continental, but, As can be reminded of the fans of previous films "Johnon Wick"No business can be implemented on a continental basis. Eve is pleased to play according to the rules because she just wants information. However, another member of this cult socializes, trying to tempt the hotel assassins to break the rules. When Daniel's massive deal is extinguished, he and Eva ended up shooting at the site in an unprepared ceasefire of various.

The follow -up action is quite fantastic, with Rids Daniel blowning people into pieces with a rifle. After all, he was shot and seemingly killed, with Eve having a lot of compassion for Ella, recognizing a little of herself in the little girl, because her father was also taken from her to a young age. In order to spoil the remaining bow of the film, Eve manages to find this cult in the secluded mountains and, with some help from Mr. Vick, kills Chancellor (Gabriel BIRN) and receives his revenge. She also manages to save Ella, reuniting her with Daniel, who survived her gunshot wound.

After all, Ridus is a little player in the film, appearing in several key scenes to help move the plot. It can be seen as a conspiracy device, which is used to help Eve on its purpose. Reeds is a large enough starvet that can be imagined that it will play a greater role. Who knows? May the wide reshapes "Ballerina" have passed Remove more of his character. In any case, Ridus does not receive a tone time on the screen.

Is that a good or bad thing? It is a matter of personal opinion. My personal feeling is that Rids is a great fit in this universe and the little ass we hit to see how to do is a lot of fun. Leave wants more.

Speaking that you want more, there is something to say about the very deliberate choice to leave Daniel alive. It would be easy enough to kill to give the emotional connection between Ella and Eve even higher resonance. But Rids is a well -beautiful actor with a lot to keep busy. Someone imagines that you would sign this film, understanding that it could be more than just a deal for one picture.

Without too much topic here, the end of the "ballerina" absolutely sets the scene for something similar to "Ballerina 2." If this movie performed well at the box office, we probably didn't see the last of Eve. As we have seen in the films "Johnon Wick", characters like Winston and Haron (the late Lance Redik, giving his last appearance in this franchise) returning constantly. They are bodies in the universe. Can Daniel become a competition in Eve's universe?

What we know for sure is that Lionsgate has a few more films for spin-off "Johnon Wick" in the works. There is "Johnon Vick 5", spin-off centered on Kane on Donny Chen, and animated over quality shows the impossible task that Mr. Wick has withdrawn to get his freedom before the first film events. Daniel is now a character in this universe with a past (and future) that may be worth exploring, and his participation would not be limited to "Ballerina 2." Since he is still alive, it is possible, if not likely, that we have not seen the last of Ridus in this universe.
