It's been 15 years since the release of "Karate Child", which was originally a loose remake of the 1984 film with the same name. While the original film starred Ralph McKio and Pat Morita as a student and teacher, respectively, the film starred in Jaden Smith and Jackkeepi Chan in the same dynamics.
