At least one Mando-Verse character will not unite with Dean Jarin and Grogu on the big screen next year. Director Jonon Javre finally returns "Starwells War" back to the theater near you in 2026, making the first new film in the franchise "The rise of Skywalker" has concluded the constantly-divisive sequel trilogy in 2019. "Mandalorian and Groogo" will bring the Galaxy TV away, away to the movies. Unfortunately, Feneck Shand will not be together for driving.
Recently, Rant on the screen talked to Ming-on Wen, played by the assassin Fenek Hand both in Mandalorian and Boba Fett's book. The actress also expressed the character in the animated series "The Bad Series". Asked if he would be in Mandalorian and Grog, Wen gave a blunt, direct answer, making it clear that he would not be part of the actions:
"Well, I think I'm not that, but if I could be it it would be great."
We have it there. Wen added that "I hope we will see Fenek again. Yes, because I miss me too." So it's not like Wen is tired of playing the character or something on those ranks. As far as we know, it is only reduced to Fenek, having no part to play in the story Havreu wants to tell it with this film. Then again, this could be a situation where Wen lies to protect surprise, just like Andrew Garfield has repeatedly lied that he is in "Spider-Man: There is no way at home." There is no real way of knowledge, but for what is worth, its answer looks original.
Will we see Feneck Shand elsewhere in the "Starwells War" galaxy?
Suppose for a moment that Wen is sincere and that she is not in fact in "Mandalorian and Groogo". It is clear that the actress will go down to return to the Galaxy "War of Starwells" in the future. Maybe there is another movie that Feneck can appear in line? Sure.
The most obvious answer is Lucasfilm's Chief Creative Creations Dave Philoni's "War of Starwives" that will link all shows in the Mandalorian Universe. While the details of that film are largely kept under the wrappers, as it was released a few years ago, it will make any sense for Feneck to appear. From the TV side of things, we also got Ahsoka Season 2, which is filmed while talking. Feneck can certainly appear there. Betting men will probably tell you that we have not seen the last of it.
In addition to these projects, Disney and Lucasfilm have several other films "War of Starwells" at different stages of development right now. Next will be director John Levi "Starvali War: Starfighter", which takes place after the events of the sequel trilogy And the stars Ryan Gosling. We also got the movie "Unattiled Ray" to see Daisy Ridley returning to build a new EDDI order. Meanwhile, Simon Kinberg is developing a possible new trilogy "Starwalks War", although the specifics of it remain completely elusive.
Then there is the film "Dawn of EDI" by director Jameseims MangoldWhat will follow the origin of the EDI for thousands of years in the entire timetable. Although it is unlikely that Fenek Shand would have a place in any of those films, there is a lot of "Starwells War" coming down the pipeline in the coming years, that's very certain.
"Mandalorian and Groogo" should hit theaters on 22.05.2026.
