If there is a lesson we have learned over the last 40 years of the cinema, it is never to bet against Jameseims Cameron. There were bets against him when director Maverick took over the "Titanic", and again when he insisted on building the imaginative and lively foreign world of Avatar A decade later. In both cases, Cameron's investments not only succeeded, but made the king of the Hollywood cinema.

Avatar is currently two films deep in the planned five -movie saga, but now Cameron seems to be "Avatar: Fire and Ash". As the director himself announced in a press release through his Facebook page todayCameron's company, Lightstorm Entertainment, has gained the rights of the latest novel by the author of Oeo Abercrombi, The Avoles. That novel was literally released on May 13, but a lot of buzz was already built, even leaving Cameron's interest aside. Abercrombi is one of the most popular romantics of fantasy today, with the novels "First Law" and "Age of Madness" becoming bestsellers. Cameron describes the "devils" in his own words like "Sharp Witty Horror Adventure" and "an epic battle between good and evil, except for most of the time, you can't say who it is," claiming that the novel is an abercombie "in an absolute top form".

It is clear that the fans of Abercrombi and Cameron are super excited by the "Thevoles", which sounds like a story of horror-fantasy in the vein of "Constantine", Cleveli Barker, or this year's "in the lost countries". For its part, Cameron says it will co-write the script for the movie version with Abercrombi, and of course this film will be produced by Lightstorm. Of course, the question of our minds is the same that the press release comes out on the way not to answer: Will Cameron direct the film adaptation of "The Avoles", and if so, what does that mean for "Avatar 4"?

To be clear and say that we can only speculate on who or may not direct what future films to come from light fun. All we know for sure is that Cameron will be co-writing the "The Abercrombi". As the press statement explains:

"I am looking forward to the writing process with it, although I am sure this adaptation will practically write because Jo writes very visually, almost in scenes and with a very Chinese structure. For me it will be a joyous new challenge to bring these indelible characters to life. "

Only with that statement, it would be easy to conclude that Cameron would only be a co-display of the "The Avoles", working in a similar way to "Alita: Battle Angel" of 2019, a film that Co-wrote and directed by Robert Rodriguez.
