When you are lost in the dark, look for it spoilers. This article reviews events from the final of the season 2 "The Last of Us".

At a time when television viewers could use a real pickup series to make real life horrors feel a little less terrible, well, well, "The Last of Us" Season 2 Provided none of that. Not that anyone who pays attention will be surprised, of course. However, newcomers to HBO adaptation may not have been Complete Ready for how far the final has taken things. Fresh last week at the hearty retrospective episode, Climax reminded everyone that the apocalypse is still the apocalypse and that the hordes of zombie -like infected are not always the biggest threat.

At the very least, those who played "The Last of Us Part II" could not look for a trusted picture of the events. Not that is any comfort for one of the strangest characters in the whole story ... and the one who had to become a father, in that. As always, the world of "The Last of Us" does not spare anyone, so let's unpack the untimely fate of Esses and the most shocking (and faithfully adapted) death of the show.

Solidified survivor, born leader and death only I am waiting to happen - all of the above may be exactly simultaneous when it comes to Our dear esses left. Introduced in the opening sequence of Season 2, which overseeing Eli's brutal hand -to -hand training, Esses quickly stried to viewers as a nonsensical figure in the city of Acksexone. In one of the biggest departures of the game, the show -Show Craig Mazin and Neil Drrakman have slightly stirred the responsibilities of the character. Not only does Acksexone have the ruling council of decision -making callers calling for footage for city residents, but Esses was positioned as a leading member of the Council at some point in the future. Unfortunately, it shouldn't have been, and this was probably supposed to be the first big red flag that was destined for a much more sudden fate.

Esses was far from perfect, of course. His slightly overwhelming attitude earned (easy) contempt for Eli and his again/again ex dina, as well as his selflessness that appeared from time to time and again throughout the season. He and Tommy (Gabriel Luna) were the first to go to Eli and Dina, after all, and Esses ended up saving both of their lives from the infected right when all the hope seemed lost. Then, again, his power of heroism also put Eli on each other's heads - especially when he stopped to save A young member of the Seraphs Who was marked for death, despite self-lawmakers who attracted Eli to endanger their "community". The series also added an additional layer of conflict by making part of the Acksecson electorate, which eventually decided not to allow Eli and Dinah to climb their mission of revenge against Abi and Western Liberation Front. Viewers were supposed to assume that Esses was one of the few who voted in their favor, but the late discovery in Season 2 proved to be the opposite.

Was our late hero just too clean to survive the world of "the last of us"? After all, it doesn't matter. If this story teaches us something, this is this: some get what they deserve and others do not. This is what survivors do in their absence that is important.
