This article contains spoilers For "Doctor Who" Season 2, Episode 7, "The World of Wish".
Early in "Wish World", we see the doctor (Nkuti Gatva) and Mel Bush (Bonnie Langford) looking at awe, and the camera reveals that their quiet residential street in London is surrounded by giant skeletal asts and bone forbids. This strange dream of fever soon turns out to be just that - a desire dreamed of Stunning monstrous podcast Conrad Clark (Jonah Hower-King) and brought from the newborn God of desires, desidirium. However, somehow, even the combination of a particularly dangerous Discord Pantheon member and the devil a villain from "Happy Day" is not enough for the game of the antagonistic performance. On the contrary, they both simply follow the bigger plan of the two-generated time Lady Wounds (Archie Punjabi) and her other I, Mrs Flood (Anita Dobson). They are looking for an even worse Galifrean than an underestimation: the Lord for the establishment of Omega.

However, the biggest mystery of the episode has nothing to do with the doctors' gallery and everything with its family tree. "Doctor Who" Season 2, Episode 6, titled "The competition for amongerst the songs", " re -introduced doctor's mysterious granddaughter In a series of tactically distributed visions. In "Wish World", she makes another arrival on the TV screen before Rogue (Athonian Count) takes over ... but the really bizarre family plot in the episode is that doctor and Belinda Chandra (Varada Setu) have a very familiar daughter in the world of desire. The spacecraft poppy has come back, but what is her deal?
After coming to the senses and descending to the rapid disappearance at the end of the episode, the doctor specifically states that the young poppy (Siena-Robin Mavanga-Pips) is really his daughter ... and in a way that is important enough to withdraw from her hair from Clifangar. This is an interesting development given that Popopi last appeared in a "doctor who" season 1 of the spacecraft "as one of the titular babies. While the episode does not mention the blood link between her and the doctor, it is worth noting that babies briefly think that the doctor and Ruby are their parents.

This common history may be what encourages the doctor to verbally claim Popi as its end of all, he is a protector, and the young super-intelligent children who personally knows very much in his review. However, there is extra quiet about poppy, and it is too similar to the current mystery about Susan's performances to write off the possibility of a family plot with family topics. Look, just like Susan, Popi appeared in mysterious circumstances before this particular episode. In "Doctor Who" Season 2, Episode 5, "Story and Engine". Belinda briefly notices on the street in Lagos, but poppy disappears before something happens.
It does not look like an accident as a poppy and confirmed cousin of the doctor and both begin to make mysterious performances in the lead of the final game. As such, it is quite possible that the seasonal finals reveal that there is more for poppy than corresponding to the eye.

So what do we know about the doctor's family?
Due to the constant time of the doctor (and the soft half-team "Doctor" passing through every regeneration), his family relationships are incredibly complex and paradoxical. He has at least three official stories of origin, one. The first assumes that it is one of the 45 artificially created time cousins. The latter claims to have a normal father and mother, although there are different versions of their identities. The third and the latest was introduced during Chris Chibbon as a shower and reveals that the doctor is not the time Lord. Instead, he is strange and ancient to be known only as a timeless child, and the closest thing he has with a relative is a mother adopted, textun (Seylan Baxter). On the front for brothers and sisters, the doctor mentioned that the sisters and the auxiliary material had a brother called Irving Braxel (expressed by Miles Richardson) - but he also said that none of his family members were alive.

The existence of Susan strongly implies that the doctor either will be or will be a parent. However, so far, the closest thing to the original child he had in the show is Enenen (Georgiador Mofet), a young woman who was artificially created by the DNA of the Doctor in the 2008 episode in the 2008 "Daughterder of the Doctor".
The fun And A frustrating thing about a "doctor who" is that almost every development of a conspiracy can turn out as an incredibly consequent or completely irrelevant - or even both at the same time. As such, it may be too early to start guessing where the story of poppy will lead ... but as it proves the incredibly disorderly family tree of the doctor, there is always room for another branch.
The "Doctor Who" final in season 2 falls on May 31, 2025.
