At no time can you blame the "last of us" that you are a happy show, nor can you say the same on the video games of the HBO series. There are times when it seems to be the persistence of the human spirit, our capacity to heal and restore, and moments of joy hidden in dark times. But more often than not, bigger ideas are death, sadness and revenge.

ELOEL (Pedro Pascal) well embodies these two sides of the story, showing Eli's oving side (white Ramsey), but brutal whenever violence is required. While ELOEL's death in season 2 "The Last of Us", Episode 2 is a hose, it is also difficult to see as out of the show in a show like this.

On the eve of that heart attack, Eli takes over the ELOEL coat with some new threads of the story that push him further and beyond the darkness, even as Its growing relationship with Dinah (Isabella Merced) offers an optimistic alternative to her pursuit of revenge. In the "last of us" season 2, Episode 5, Eli follows Nora (Tati Gabriel)Part of the crew led by Abi (Caitlin Dever) who killed Elloel. Their confrontation is one of the darkest scenes on the show so far, and of course the darkest for Eli, showing how far away now he is ready to impose his own brutality to avenge. While the TV series downloads many freedoms with the source material, those who have not played the games may be surprised to find out that this particular scene is basically recreational recreation at the same moment from "The Last of Us Part II".

There are several differences in setting up in Eli's meeting with Nora in "The Last of Us Part II", but it is mostly the same there. She finds Nora in a makeshift hospital for the Liberation Front in Washington (WLF). Nora improves from her and runs away, encouraging chase. When Eli faces armed soldiers, she drags Nora to the abandoned floor of the building covered with spores of Cordyceps. The soldiers followed with breathing masks, and Eli beat them, and then hunted difficulty breathing, infected Nora to a lonely corridor.

Save for the extra action of the game (hey, it's a third person's scorer), this is basically what is happening in the show, although the floor of the dispute gets a little added OMF, because it is the first introduction of the Cordyceps show. All previous encounters in HBO adaptation include bite -based infections.

In both versions, Nora is trying to make the case of why Elloel had to die, citing a little more details in the show (as in the game, some details are still hidden from the player at the moment). Unusual, Eli is looking for Abi's location, and when Nora refuses to work, she takes a little tube and starts beating it until she gets what she wants. Both scenes are performed and illuminated in the same way, with Abi going over the crumb of Nora in a dark corridor illuminated only with a poor red alert. It is a deliberately hellish environment for what is probably the darkest moment of Eli, and plays just as much (or terribly, depending on your point of view) in the show as happened in the game.

In the game, Eli is immediately traumatized by her choice to brutally torment Nora. This is the moment when it is called her bluff - when circumstances require her to prove her capacity for strong violence, which has proved to be quite high. Eli returns to a dune shell by herself, barely focused on what she has just done. We cannot see that unification in the episode "The Last of Us".

Probably, this scene will affect it in the same way of HBO as in the games, although there are still some questionnaires about Eli's comprehensive bow.
