It turns out that we could have a very, very different version of Taskmaster in Marvel's Chinese universe if things went by other way. This is because another actor auditory for the role, an actor who ended up playing someone else completely in a "black widow". The actor in question is by Fagbenel, who was played by Shield Agent Rick Mason in the 2021 film. But before lowering the gig, he almost became a bad man for Scarlett Johansson, Natasha Romanof to miss it.

In a recent interview for DirectlyFagenbell confirmed that he had audited Taskmaster in the Black Widow. After all, Olga Kurilenko ("Solas Quant") went to the role. Fagbenle before Confirmed in 2021 that he audited for a different character in the movie Marvel StudiosBut he declined to specify who was at that time. Now, he pulls the curtain to what descends behind the scenes. Here's what he had to say about it:
"I first audited for Taskmaster, and that was this, it was a really amazing speech, in fact. It was an audition with which I was very proud. I still got it in the back of some place. And he was this-I did with an African accent, and he was like this like a mania."

It took a long time the film "Black Widow" to collectWith different repetitions of the script that are united throughout the development process. So, it's not only the different actor has almost played the part. As Fagenbell says, this would have been a different taking of the character together.
"Basically (I said) that (the role) liked, 'whether I am or is anyone else." That kind of work for that version of Taskmaster. And so, the taskmaster I would have had no "black widow" iteration. "
Hagbell is ready and waits to return to MCU
While mileage will vary from person to person, the version of Taskmaster we got is not particularly well appreciated in terms of mcu villainsIn the great pattern of things. The character is known for broadcasting enemies with precision. There is a strong feeling that the version played by Kurlenko is wasted, somewhere.

Not to enter the territory of spoilers here, But her recent appearance at Thunderbolt has done a bit to help things. There is no need to come back in time and wonder if Marvel made the right choice. Looking towards the future, Fagbenl revealed that he was ready to withdraw the character he created for his audition Taskmaster at some point in the future, even if he was not for Marvel's film:
"The character I created for that was something I didn't do before, or something that people didn't see me before. I was really excited. But anyway, there will be another opportunity for me to get that maniac out of the bag and put it on the screen."
Who knows what the future brings? MCU's multivarous saga has offered a great opportunity to see different versions of the same characters on the screen. And If MCU gets a soft restart after the "secret wars", Famous characters could get new lease on life. Taskmaster can very well come to life again. It seems unlikely to be Fagbenel behind the mask, but more sensitive things happened. The actor concluded that it made it clear that he was ready to return to MCC, probably as Rick Mason, whenever the call came.
