"Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" had only eight central members of the cast listed as its regular in the initial loans, but by the end of her seventh and last season, there was no less than 30 members in the ensemble. As with the Simpsons, all the Deep Space Nine supporters spread as the series continued, many of them getting their own stories. Actors like Andrew R. Case in point: Chase Masterson played a character named FlyA woman from Bayran who worked in a quark bar. Fly was a girl's girlfriend, engaged to rotate a wheel from Roulette Ferenga and look beautiful. She was first presented in the third seasonal episode "Researchers" (8.05.1995), flirting with the handsome young Dr. Bashir (Alexander Sidig). Masterson wanted this for Leeta. Not that she was part of the track, but that she appeared only in 16 episodes.
