"Star Trek: Voyager" was a big deal when he debuted on January 16, 1995. It was the first show "Star Trek" to premiere after the conclusion of the mega-hit "Star Trek: the next generation", leaving many travelers to oppose it to be forced to "stand". The new series starred Kate Mulgru as Captain Catherine Ewenevay, commander of the Starflit ship, USS Voyager, who found himself whisking through the galaxy by a divine alien. Voyager followed his lead when they began their way home on earth from there, a journey that would seem 70 years old. The show was unique in the Star Trek canon as it focused on the Starfleet ship, which had no backup of the federation and came across only foreigners who had never heard of them.

Mulgru took his role well, inflicting Eweneva with many fascinating contradictions. The character was protected by her team and eventually began to think about her co -workers as a family, but she was also authoritarian with a low key, which insisted on her personal rule of law, even if her decisions came into moral gray areas (which often made). However, many travelers liked Janeway because of her determination, and she eventually returned to the franchise in the movie "Star Trek: Nemesis" and The animated series "Star Trek: Prodigy".
The trays will be able to tell you, however, that Mulgru is a last -minute replacement. Canadian actor Evenev Budjold was originally caught as Captain Ewenevey and was considered "getting" at the time because she had a gentle, intense theater that the show's producers thought would add prestige to "Voyager". In the end, Bujold worked just in front of the cameras two days before giving up in huff. Many have seen Leaked shots from Budjold on the Internet.

Actor Garrett Wang, who played by Harry Kim at Voyager, remembered his experience working with Bujold during her very short stance of the series as she appeared on Video series "Delta Flyers" In 2020. Bujold seems to be entrusted to Wang when it comes to her reasons for the show. It seems that she just didn't believe someone involved in making a "voyager".
GeneVev Bujold said he did not believe anyone involved in making vojager
Looking at Buyold's footage, it can be seen that it may not have worked out. Bujold is a classically trained actor who works on stage and in the films, collaborating with significant directors such as Alen Resna, Brian De Palma and David Cronenberg. She was not alien to the mainstream blockbusters, after appearing in films such as "Earthquake" and "The last flight of Noah's casket". She even had a few TV shirts in the 1960s in her native Canada, but since then she has only made TV movies. "Voyager" seems to have been a massive TV production that was moving at lightning speed, and Bujeld could not catch up.

Wang recalled that Bujold was antisocial on the Voyager set, often expiring outside the room between the takeover and not interacting with him or any of the other members of the show. Iousbopite about her thinking about the series, Wang said she must meet one of her evacuations just to ask how things are going. He told the following interaction:
"(S) He looks at me and, in her Franco-Canadian accent, she said," I feel like I can't believe anyone. " And I said, 'What? "Yes, when I first agreed to take on Janeway's role, I tell the producers that I want to have no nonsense with my hair.

It seems that Bujeld spent some time developing Eweneva in a character that is comfortable playing, but that the show's producers have been constantly changing their appearance, changing his hair and make -up to get it "true". Bujold hated that so much time spent on the look of her character, feeling that she was mixing in her acting.
Wang remembers Budjold complains to Voyager producers
Wang saw how upset Bujold was and realized that he felt betrayed. He continued:
"Literally, she was very set for it." This is what I will do. I have a very clear picture of (how) I'll be Captain Janevej. " And then she said the producers agreed. 'They agreed with me, but then before we start shooting, they change everything. So, she felt that it was kind of a certain path to do what she had to do (to prepare herself to be a captain's tape, and then was taken away.

An article in a 1994 TV guide also referred to a moment when Bujeld got angry at the photographer, who seemed to be photographed with her butt without asking. The photographer said he was getting pictures of a potential figure of Captain Ewenevay's action, but the incident made Bujold be unpleasant. She left the set after two working days, after which Mulgru was invited to take his place. Mulgray had a much more TV experience and immediately took him to the fast pace. Given how often Janeway's hair was changing through the "Voyager", it was also clear that the hair and makeup department wanted.
Buyold has not worked on a TV series since its involvement in Voyager. Her next two films were after that were "The Adventures of Pinocchio" in 1996 and the famous Indian film in 1997 "The House of Des". Wang, meanwhile, It will later appear on the animated show "Star Trek: Lower decks,"Playing Harry Kim and dozens of his duplicates. Both seem to go well.
