This post contains spoilers For Marvel's "Thunderbaltes*".
After years of wondering what Marvel's latest team will look like, we should no longer ask ourselves as "Thunder*" in cinemas as we talk. Director Akeejk Schreer brought the team to life on the big screen to bring the 5th of Marvel's Chinese universe to close ... sight. What did he mean in the title of the film? While this may be a little too much application, it essentially meant we didn't see a movie about thunderstorms.

As we know until the end of "Thunderbaltes*", he existed because the team in the film was actually familiar with the world as new avengers. That's right! Marvel pulled fast on us. The A team made up of Jelena Belova, Spirit, Johnon Walker, Red guardian and Baki Burns is the new avengers, not thunderstorms. (An apology to Taskmaster, who did not do it from the first act alive.)
This discovery was, in many ways, probably a little exciting for viewers. Was unexpected and smart. "Thunderbolts*" was invoiced as the end of MCU's phase 5 From the moment it was published in Comik-Connings San Diego in 2022. But Marvel completed almost every other phase of MCC to this day with the movie "Avengers", except for Stage 4. This was the way to do so on sly. It was a clever way to introduce a new Avengers team in MCU as it surprised that surprise for viewers, rather than spoiling the title of the film.

The only problem is that anyone who was excited about the real film "Thunderbolt", or that team that exists in MCC 6 and beyond, can remain with a sense of disappointment. I consider myself among the disappointed in this regard.
New Avengers Killed Thunder
I will not sit down here and claim that I am the "Thunderbolt" superfan, but I read 2012 led by writer Daniel Weh and artist Steve Dillon, wanting a lot. Created by Kurt Busijek and Mark Bagley, Thunderbolt originally debuted on the pages of "Incredible Hulk" in 1997 with a team of villains, anti-heroes and occasional heroes that have been characterized by a rotating list for years. Basically, that's Marvel's response to Suicide Squad.

Not exactly apples of apples, but that's the idea. Now, David Ayer's "suicide composition" is not very critical of the filmBut at least it delivered what it promised, by showing the Task Force X doing its job, with the group later returning (with new members) to Jamesesiyes Gun. Unfortunately, before they even reach the end of their first Chinese walk, Marvel's thunderstorms become the new avengers. The existence of the group in MCC was necessarily brief.
It may have been assumed that the thunder, as a team, were set to have a longer life expectancy in MCU. After all, Harrison Ford made his debut as Tadeus "Thunderbal" Ross in "Captain America: Brave New World", " And the group is named after him. But in MCU, the name comes from Jelena's children's football team. There were pieces on the board that this sustainable team could have made, the one that is very different from the avengers for the coming years. Even if, let's say, Baki and Jelena came out to join the new Avengers, Thunderbolts could gather new members like Baron Zemo, or someone else locked in the raftto fill the list of list.

Instead, the thunderstorms were essentially killed before they became a proper team within the MCC. The name was just used to gather the new avengers. A cynical, bitter way to look at it would be to say that the new avengers were killed by lightning. I am personally comfortable using such a language.
Thunderbolt can never get a real blow in MCU now
The new Avengers will not even be the only Avengers team in MCU to head to Stage 6. "Brave New World" teases Anthony Mackki's Sam Wilson ball to lead the team of vendors on their own. The scene of the Thunderbolt's loans has revealed that the new avengers are in violation of the Semangers team, which will undoubtedly resolve the "vengeance: Doomsday" next year.

For better or worse, Marvel doubles in the "Avengers" teams, as the multivarous saga begins to land for landing, with the "secret wars" in 2028, set to stop this saga, paving the way for something else. Unfortunately, it is now unlikely that lightning will be part of it. We just got that movie. What will Marvel do - "real thunder" or something on those lines? It feels unlikely. What is more likely is that this is one and something done, which means the fans of the original material, who sincerely expected the right movie "Thunderbaltes" (or movies) are now happiness, at least for a while.
It would be nice to see guys like a red guardian and insufficiently used characters as a spirit to do the dirty work to do. It would be fun to see the gruesome side of MCU on which the "Avengers" films are not borrowed. This franchise could offer Avenue to return other forgotten characters and offer a significant time on the screen. Unfortunately, this is not what we got and we don't get it any time soon.

The good news is that "Thunderstorms*", as it exists, earns excellent reviewsin general. Who knows? Maybe in a few years Marvel Studios will reconsider the idea in a more real form in shape. That's the optimistic look. However, for now, people such as I, who watched this team presented on the big screen for the first time so far have to live with a certain level of disappointment because not only probably we do not get a sequel, the first film was more than bait and gearbox.
Thunderbolts is now in cinemas.
