It is difficult to imagine the hit -the Sitomom of Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld Seinfeld, which is missing any of his four leading characters. Jerryryers (Seinfeld) were shallow and neurotic. Strangely, Elaine's character was not in the Seinfeld pilot, called "Seinfeld Chronicles" (July 5, 1989). The fourth main role was originally supposed to be a waitress named Claire, played by actress Lee Garlington, but the restaurant where she worked was again launched for the second episode of the show, becoming a wrist called Monk's coffee. Claire was also kicked out in favor of a new character named Aileen and then Elaine.
