Steven King has only occasionally written film or television adaptations of its own stories, including the 1989 movie "Five Semari", the 1994 Stand -2016 Minisions and the 2016 film "Cellelia" (which is a movie with the lowest rating of the king of rotten tomatoes). However, King was unwavering that he would only be allowed to adjust the "Lisy Story" for the small screen.

"Lieze's story" is one of King's most unique books. It's not a horror story as you would traditionally expect from King, but it's suspicious. It is the mainly LOVEUB story that covers decades of marriage between Lisi and Scott Landon: tiny fights, romantic moments, "Alice in Wonderland"-Stil of the couple's style and difficulties in sharing life with a famous creative.
After his death, Lize is left to tidy up her husband's study. There, she encountered the nostalgic objects of their common memories and his unfinished writing. She is also forced to handle the hunter who is obsessed with Scott's work. Then, Lisi reveals her ability to step down into a fantastic world that Scott left behind-the-shingle as a fairy called the Boia Moon, which is filled with lush flora, luminescent colors and the literal good of the imagination.

The minisers "The Story of Lisey" premiered in 2021 at Apple TV+, as directed by Pablo Larayan and starring Jululiana Moore, Clive Owen and Ennenifer Asonejson Lee. /Review of the spoiler of the movie for the seriesHowever, he argues that King's insistence on writing "Lisi's story" may be her fall. Indeed, despite its beautiful, fantastic images and strong casting, the show often moves at a betting pace and accumulated the retrospective retrospectives, killing the moment. Much of the crumbling babies and Scott's chat does not translate well on the screen (to be fair, it is also disturbing to read). However, it would be difficult for King to completely abandon creative control, seeing "Lisi's story" was incredibly personal to him.
Lisi's story is based on Steven King's own marriage and life as a famous author
King explained his role behind the scenes of "Lisi's story" during an interview in 2021 Fun weekly. As he said:
"I have always loved the story and that is the reason I got involved. I stick to this for myself because at some point I thought I would like to be involved in writing and leading it for finishing, and to be able to do it is just a wonderful gift. Because at my age, you don't have much time - not just like it."

"Lisy's story" is so personal to King because, in many ways, it's his story. During the almost fatal hospitalization of pneumonia in 2003, King Tabita's wife deeply used her office. When he returned home, he was shocked by a shell to see his creative shelter and the personal warehouse was completely renovated. He felt like a vision of the future where he did not survive. This, in turn, inspired him to write about the inheritance of the authors and the narratives we construct after our loved ones pass.
King probably wanted to avoid what happened to his other personal job, "Glitter", as Stanley Kubrick, hated the film's adaptation. He felt that Jackec Nicholson not only made the wicked transformation of Jackack Torrence, but also the "evil" itself too purely. There was no nuance and there was no emotional bow for a man struggling with alcoholism in the film - something King handled his life. Of course, the Kindubez event had to tell the story she wanted with that The "minisers" in 1997 (worth looking).

Lisi's "Story", however, is a great example of how authors can be too close to their work and cannot see what will translate well on the screen. Unfortunately, King's passion for this story is lost in the translation.
