You will never see the best moment of dawn (until you do it)

This post contains spoilers For "Dawn".

There is a moment in Dawn, David F.'s new film adaptation. Sandberg on the popular video game, where the film gets a little juice. Since the story of the story is slowly established, the core of problematic clover (Ella Rubin), climbing Max (Michael Timino - no, not he), Aspirant Clerivant Megan (Ji-Yang Yu), heavy chicken (Odessa A'zion) and her boyfriend from Djimbo Abe (Belmont Camelli) retire to the abandoned welcome center while looking for a missing sister and quickly realizing that everyone is caught. After being killed and resurrected, they were sheltered in the welcome center's bathroom, thinking they could simply wait for masked killers and the unspeakable horrors of the night and survive until the morning. A reasonable assumption!

Unfortunately, the killers made these friends very thirsty, and Abe took a giant bay water from the bath sink before passing a glass of water around the room. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Abe exploded. His whole body only shoots as if he swallowed a live grenade, and his blood and intestines go everywhere, leaving his friends covered in visca and just as stunned as the audience. It is not long before the realization appeared: they drank the water. Funny, one by one, they also start exploding. It is an amazing, funny, creative moment and ironic, these deaths are the first time the film has felt like a little life inhaled in it after the opening of Rota.

After such a burst of energy and entertainment, there is no chance of the film blowing the good will on that stage, right? Didn't it?

Until Dawn's best wrap it goes beyond its welcome

Sigh. Yes, "Dawn" eventually allows the proverbial air to get out of the balloon by returning to that wrapped several times during the story. The reason why little works so well in the first place is because of the element of surprise: since we did not expect it, my theater (including I) reacted loud when Abe's friends were suddenly coated with his debris. Water combustion is fully working for that scene in the bathroom, but when it comes back to the game again and again, the surprise factor is gone, and every successive time, I found myself thinking more about the specifics of how the water that explodes instead of just appreciating it as a fun, creative gag.

By the time Clover effectively poisoned Dr. Hill with a few drops in coffee at the culmination of the story, and then emits a dramatic singlesteg in the face, I no longer had fun with the effect. Instead, I wondered how seemingly knew that hack clover True How much time will it take for Hill to explode after drinking it, so she can perfectly deliver its line. And look, I'm not a miserable movie! I didn't You want To think about nor nonsense like that. But the film basically forced my hand by taking my best wrap and welcoming it. If only the directors could turn their own way to travel upside down and cook a way for the film to keep the party on that bathroom scene without weakening its effect later in the story.
