The Andor 2 season does not waste time reminding viewers how cruel and brutal the empire is. In the first episode of the season, we see a meeting between a senior imperial officer in Maltaine's division. Orson Crennick (Ben Mendelsson)Director of the Star Death project leads the meeting, and attendees include Dedra Merrero (Dennis Goff) and Major Partagaz (Anton Leicester) of the Imperial Security Bureau. The purpose of the meeting, as Crennick lies, revolves around the planet Gurman.

To complete the construction of the "Death Starwar" reactor, the Empire needs a specific mineral that can only provide a gurman: "Deep, Bad, Green Calcite". The only problem is that mining such a basic mineral is likely to destabilize the planet, leading to forced displacements for its inhabitants. Crnnic's meeting is primarily to form strategies to turn the public feeling against Gurman's residents before it happens, ensuring imperial support.

It is easy to say only from this meeting that things will become really bad, but those who have seen them The animated series "Rebels of" War of Starwells " Have a few details on how terribly this plot will end.
