The last moments of Elloel Miller (Pedro Pascal) were easier to look at some, simply because it was burned in the minds of the "Last of Us" fans since 2020. It is a tedious scene, not just because of the journey we have been with these two characters, but the tension that has been built among them for reasons we are not yet aware. What sets it apart from the sequence in the game is that ELOEL's brother, Tommy (Gabriel Luna), is not present.

In "The Last of Us Part II", Abi is rescued by both Millers and is directed at the cabin where the rest of the former Firefly team is held. Before they realize that they entered the trap, ELOEL takes one in the knee, and Tommy is beaten unconscious, leaving the fate of his great brother. So why the change, and what can it mean for the rest of the season 2 to go ahead?

While Elloel took him as a champion this week of heart -looking episode of "The Last of Us", Tommy had his own trouble dealing with the invasion of infected tearing through Ackseksexville. The division of the drama into two locations and building tension in many different ways left well -trained fans and uninitiated on an equal basis. Moving Tommy from one tense location to another knocked audience in thinking that we can lose not only Miller's brother, but both at the same time. These are the carefully set changes that can be beneficial to the show, giving up in small but influential ways, unlike the wider investments outside the beaten track that had season 1, simply because Season 2 has no time. There is no time to create all the new relentless leaders like Melanie Lysini, Katlin or to expand to convicted romances involving Bill (Nick Bidder) and Frank (Murray Bartlett), this season feels appropriate to focus on Eli's mission as it is. It is now just a question of how different part of Tommy will be in it given the crucial moment when he was absent from this time.

As Tommy entered Aksecsonville, rather than without cab action, the question arises how recent events will affect Miller's last remaining brother. In the game, Tommy is encouraged to take revenge on his brother's death after he was present (though not completely), but not so much like Eli. It contributes to its preparation for the military path she set for Abi and only more engages in things closer to the end of the tail of the "Last of Us Part II".

However, in the show, it would be understandable to assume whether Tommy is left with heavier guilt in this iteration than in the original version. Is there a chance that Eloel's younger brother will be persecuted by what-if he wonders if he could make a difference when Abi discovered himself and did as Told was said by ELOEL "Just keep up with it?" Can this be what pushes him to be more present for the approach of Elli's investment, besides the gates of Acksexville and in search of the stranger who took the golf club into their world? For the time being, all we can do is wait to see Tommy, Eli and the rest of our heroes have collected the broken pieces of recent events and if they use them as an improvised shiv of anyone who finds themselves on the way "The Last of Us" continues next week.
