When people think of Narnia's chronicles, Aslan is one of the first characters to come to mind - and thus, the deep loud voice of Great Liam Neeson. Nyson expressed the fantasy of Jesus Christ (it's not an allegory - he is literally Jesus in another form in another world) for all three Narnia films published from 2005 to 2010. The first two films, "The Lion, the Witch and the wardrobe" and "Prince Caspian", are characterized by Aslan in a significant role. As with the source material of CS Lewis, however, the third film, "The Travel of The Dawn Treader", gives Aslan much less to make the story. It seems that it was also a significantly less pleasant experience for Neyson himself, as he expressed the great lion.

In an interview for 2010 with fans NarniawebThe Irish actor was asked if it was difficult to show Aslan in Zora Trader given his reduced screen time. In response, Nyson explained that it is not just the shortness of the role that made it harder to bring the character to life:

"Well, I would be honest with you. It was a little frustrating because I wasn't part of the movie process. I wasn't in the location. I wasn't with the kids, I wasn't with the film's crew. They brought me to put me in an anonymous sound stand, either in Toronto or Vancouver.

Despite the frustrations of the work outside the set, Nyson received some help from Andrew Adamson, who also directed Co-wrote the previous two Narnia films. While Adamson did not serve any of these positions on "The Dawn Treader's trip", he was still involved in the project as a producer. Nyson explained that despite the frustrations that were closed in an acoustic stand, he worked with Adamson to come up with something worthy of performing at Aslan level:

"We worked very, very closely. He showed me a computer painting on how Aslan would look like. We experimented with various vocal tones that we would find a sound that was right for this creation, this lion. And it was very interesting. It was a different focus. It was a different way of thinking about what this was.

Nyson added that gravity of the role was not lost on him:

"And I was aware of, of course, what Aslan advocated in these films and I was very comfortable with it."

Netflix and director Greta Gervig are preparing their own adaptation of Narnia (which is Starting from the retrained "nephew of the magician" And Did Meryl Streep set up to borrow his voice to gender replacement aslan), it means that they will have to pass the high bar previously set by Non -Noni, Adamson and Company. We see if they are able to satisfy the great, multi-generation, multi-faceted fanbase of Louis's seminar work of Christian fantasy for fantasy fast enough.
