Marvel's actor accidentally stabbed Liam Neeson while filming a historic epic

Michael Catton-Onesons' historical biography "Rob Roy" was bad luck to be released on April 7, 2025, just a month and a half before Mel Gibson's Juguugernut Mel Gibson. The two films were for significant Scottish rebels, with "Rob Roy" focused on the 16th -century folk hero and "Braveheart" (very, very loosely) focusing on the 14th -century freedom fighter. As such, the audience could not help, but to compare the two films. "Braveheart" was the bigger, more expensive, more violent and more pleasant crowd of the two, and will continue to win five awards at the Academy, including the best picture and the best director. "Rob Roy" was a kind of swallowed by the Hollywood excitement "Brayhart".

It's a pity, really, watching "Rob Roy" is a fantastic movie for itself. Liam Neeson Starswells in the film like Rob Roy McGregor, leader of the Scottish clan, who must borrow money to establish as a powerful cattle trader and feed his people. Unfortunately, he has a loan stolen from evil, used Archbald Cunningham (Tim Roth), who kills his friends and attacks his wife (Essica Lange). This leads to a complex intrigue of double radiation, secret crimes, false accusations, real accusations and a plan to take revenge on the top of the Rapier. The film is climbing a sword between Rob Roy and Cunningham, showing both shows many different fencing styles and gradually expelling their cool. It is one of the best match fights ever shown in film.

Roth, it should be noted, was nominated for the best Oscar support actor for his order in Rob Roy. Many years later, the actor (whose many other roles include that of Emil Blones, aka Gnas, in Marvel's film universe) appeared on Podcast "delayed lease" To talk about his career, and he acknowledged that the fight for the "Rob Roy" sword was slightly taken. It seems that when Nyson grabbed Roth's sword during a crucial moment in the sequence, he slipped through his fingers and stabbed him in his hand.

Tim Roth stabbed Liam Neeson in the hand of Rob Roy's set

Roth explained that he had to get involved in a very serious training of the match to play Cunningham, as his character was a significant sword. Meanwhile, Rob Roy of the insert was less elegant with the sword. Neyson, of course, suffered a sword training, but Roth thought he was far beyond his co-star. As such, when he made a certain move, he cut Neyson. As he said:

"I had a lot of time to practice, so I worked with a double (inspection). This amazing man, who really looked like him. But I worked, practiced with a double, so I had my moves down, but Liam played attractive with us. So he at one point, he went to the money, Aluminum, I think. "

Indeed, although Rob Roy's actors did not have to worry about being fatally stabbed by the matches they used, the matches could still - as Roth and Nyson learned - to cause injury.

Roth quickly added that Karma eventually attracted him. He did what he called a "nonsense movie" a few years later, when he was stabbed in his hand in the same place that Nyson stabbed. It is likely that "Nonsense Film" was at stake "Musketer", a 2001 shareholder, which referred to Peter Heims (whose more significant loans include Action Film in the 80's "Outland") and inspired by the works of Alexander Dumas. In that film, Roth played February, another villain qualified in Swordplay. The "Musketeer", may be able to be intuitive, not mutually on Oscar's knots. However, it allowed Neyson to get some revenge in the blood (on the tour).
