Mary debuted in "Daredeville" in 1988 "Daredevil" #254, created by writer Ann Nocenti and Johnon Romita Runior Her name was taken by Mary Malon, an Irish-American immigrant at the end of the 19th/early 20th century, and the Typhus. Mary Walker's first appearance, body recorded on page 1 of "Daredeville" #254, refers to it as "invisible poison" as it carries the disease bearing the name.

Mary's debut -story, "Typhus Touch", It works to "Daredevil" #263. She is engaged by Kingpin first seducing Matt Murdoch and then killing him. Superheroes associating with strangers with Super Villa is nothing new, but has an extra layer of Maria's secret identity. It has a dissociative disorder of identity, with three alternative persons: innocent Maria (named by Matt), a typhoid that requires excitement (who prefers Wilson Fisk) and murderous bloody Maria.
In suits, Maria paints one half of her face in white, reflecting her separated person. Its different individuals also all have different heart rates, EEG models, etc. Which means that Daredevil's intensified senses literally read Maria as special persons depending on who is under control. The very reason that Kingpin chose for her task was for the poetry of another split soul that destroys Matt Murdoch/Daredeville.

Typhus Maria is struggling with swords, but there are also superpowers with the mind, also including low -level telepathy, telekinesis and pyrokinesis. Now, Mary is a recognition for a derivative of Electra National (which can still be returned to "Daredevil: Born" again "). Like Electra, she is a female killer who works for the king who has to do with Matt Murdoch. But Maria is different enough to work on her own, and Daredeville and Kingpin's drama included in the same woman is delicious. (During a time Run's Zdarsky's 2019-2023 "Daredevil"Maria hung up with the king and became Mary Fisk.)
I can't see how Mary and FISK would become the Oleson "Daredeville" Season 4 item. D'Onofrio's Kingpin is driving or dying for his wife Vanessa (Ajelet Zuer). Season 2 of "Ironeleic Fist" ended with measuring (renamed as a soldier who developed during a troubled captivity), awakening her bloody side of Maria, who spent the night as a vigil. Probably, Oleeson's Daredeville Season 4 will gather there.
It is a little surprising that Oleeson was planning to keep Bulsey, but again, you can't have the same main villain twice in a row without being repetitive. Season 2 "Daredeville" retained Fisk in a diminished role between him, such as the great bad seasons 1 and 3.

The seasons "Daredevil" 1-3 are loosely based on Frank Miller's "Daredeville Run". By Season 4, it was time to move to the stories of the neot. After all, almost every modern story "Daredeville" is a riff or response to Miller, Nocenti or Brian Michael BendisTV series included.
"Daredeville: Born" is streamed at Disney+.
