"Joint Side Effects" focuses on a Marshall brief (Dave King). A realized mycologist, Marshall comes to discover the mythical blue angelic mushroom, a special fungus that makes it no Download your brain and body (something that can do something from "the last of us" In real life ... kind). Instead, it seems to heal virtually nothing. Wound from firearms? Passed. Dementia? Forget about it. True, literal death? Say goodbye to it all, it's a time of mushroom, baby!

As such, Marshall is quickly on the run by the killers and the Fed - specifically DEA, who sends his two best agents, Agent Dopeno (Josephosef Lee Anderson) and agent Harrington (Martha Kelly), to detain Marshall.

"Joint Side Effects" is, simply, a masterpiece for animation. Even if the medium is in a better place than ever, with adult animation being highlighted and creatively varied, for the most part, American animated adult shows tend to fall below one of the two types of categories: comedies such as "Rick and Morti" or action shows like Castlevania. That is not to say that there can be no nuance on both sides, but that means focus and sales points tend to be either comedy or combat scenes.

"Unbeatable", for example, is quite dramatic, but it is also a very action show. Meanwhile, Bojack Horseman is one of the best dramers of the 21st century prestige, but still remains a comedy. "Common Side Effects", on the other hand, is a very rare show that belongs to the relatively recent trend (along with series such as "Pantheon", "Undone" and "Skygers") that are not defined by action or comedy. Instead, they could easily be considered directly with genre if they were live action.

This is to say that the conspiracy thriller element of "common side effects" is quite effective, offering a strong takeover of government corruption, capitalism and our current health care. And yet, when the show Whether Hit humor, it's funny like hell.
