The "Stargate SG-1" crew is incomplete without Dr. Daniel Acksecson at Michael Hanks. I mean, this was clear when Shanks left the series after his fifth season after his face was killed abruptly. For example, he embodied Mahello, the older man of Dedred, who lived under the tyrannical rule of Goald from a child. The Shanks inserts this character with hidden, though worldwide, and portrays it as someone who inadvertently wants what belongs to others for his difficult childhood. But there are more! Shanks expressed a prominent character in the series that does not look like it. I'm talking about the Asgardian Thor, the Supreme Commander of the Asgard fleet and a dear friend of the country.

As a refresher, Thor first appeared in the sixth episode of the second season, titled "Thor's carriage", in which SG-1 learns of the true nature of Asgard (an ancient humanoid race with intensified intellect). A short story, Thor seems to be saving the enslaved people of Zimmeria in this episode, who were tormented by the feared Lord Hurricle (Douglas Arthurs) system. This is a pretty interesting episode, as part of the SG-1 crew (including Dr. Acksecson), complete a series of tests set by Thor to prove their courage and selflessness in front of the arguments. From Thor's intervention in Zimmeria, he and the SG-1 crew were in friendly terms, contributing to the cause of the country on several occasions.

By the end of the "Stargate SG-1", Thor did not exceed the crew due to the inevitable genetic degradation of his race, choosing to die at his home of his will. While this is really sad, Thor will always be remembered as one of the greatest of all time and the true ally of the country and the Stargat command.
