Lance Barber was at the heart of some of the most emotional scenes of Young Sheldon, the most significant Death of his character, George Cooper Sr.In the last season of the show. However, while many fans probably associate Cooper's patriarch with the highest moments that cause tears, Barber poured water over the romantic scene. In an interview with TVLinHe explained that the episode in which Georgorj Cooper (Montana Jordandan) married Mandy McAllister (Emily Osmment) in the feeling, and that had a permanent impact on him. As he explained:

"This was the first day I felt emotional, and he was constantly hitting me again. And we are (Mary and George Cooper Sr.) Not even in that. That's such a moment with Mandi and her father. It's great, but I was a mess for that scene at the wedding."

Barber also noted that Georgi and Mandi's wedding scene feels like his son is married, though not associated with Montana Jordandan in real life. However, he played his daddy for seven seasons and built a report with the young actor, along with his other casters. That said, he enjoyed being part of the story "Young Sheldon" that the cast and fans were the most afraid of all.

Lance Barber misses George Cooper's death scene at Young Sheldon Because he wanted other actors to feel a sense of loss. His absence helped his co-stars deliver unforgettable and emotional performances, fueled by the knowledge that their mandate at work with Barber would end. The good news is, however, that Barber was not so tear to the death of his character as he saw his son on the screen. In fact, he was pretty happy to see Georgeor killed, as he explained in an interview with TV Insider:

"I have a selfish perspective on what to end the way it is for my character because I think it's unforgettable. Selfish, as an actor for characters, I have to play (the part of) America's father should die on TV. To have it as part of my legacy as a TV actor, I think it's pretty neat."

Despite the death of Georgeorje, Barber is happy to repeat his role in "first marriage of Georgi and Mandi", " What he does in the episode "Typhus Georgi" of Season 1. It shows that Georgeor shares an emotional moment with the image of Montana Jordandan during the dream sequence - until it turns into a zombie. Hopefully, this leads to more outputs for Barber in the spin-off "Young Sheldon", as many fans are not yet ready to bid Georgeghor.
