One of the best aspects of "unicorn death" is her constant reminders that these unicorns are not just horses with horns. They are magical creatures and as such, they have special properties as well as unusual weaknesses. Their biggest weakness is that they become completely obedient and helpless when in the presence of an innocent young girl, something Ridley reveals on her joke. The concept of a unicorn that is in danger of unwillingly from a young woman is obviously part of the true mythology of a unicorn, which is probably ending up as a plot in a point "The Legend" of 1985. Although "Unicorn's Death" may not directly refer to Ridley Scott's fantasy, both films share the basic parcel of unicorn in distress thanks to the hypnotic attraction of the girl's innocence. And let's not forget that Ridley made him "alien" and that the image of Ortega bears the name Ridley!
