Following are spoilers for Reacher.

It has been a long time, but after eight episodes filled with blows and explosions, Reacher (Alan Richson) finally got his man. Not only for himself, of course, but also for Cole (Mariah Robinson). A careful blend of revenge and justice was followed by some difficult negotiations with Russian weapons dealers, leaving Quinn (Brian Te) overcome and no options. The only one left with him was the enemy hiding in an ordinary sight. Then, that history almost repeated, and Quinn did his best to negotiate a way out of the inevitable with a man who failed to remember until it was too late. The outcome was fast and cold - exactly what Quinn deserved - but it was also drastically different from how he met his producer in the original book that prompted the last season of "Achiever".

Instead of keeping the look near and personal, we saw Quinn's execution from afar, with a blinking rifle that stimulates the scene and knocking the villain from his legs and out of the game for good. Compared to Quinn's original exit, he was far more efficient and suitable for Reacher's motivations that they have been driving since the beginning of this season than the rush and ruthless little revenge he brought to the book. In this case, the show actually surpassed the pages that withdrew and allowed the audience and our hero to fully taste the moment.

In the seventh book by Jackec Ricer of Lee Child, (The best book in the series)On what is the third season based, Quinn fills a faster and much more disturbing end than the show. For one, he does not run away from the scene, but enjoys a cigarette with Beck (Anthony Michael Hall) in the palace before he has fallen. After hitting Beck and allowing him to fall to the floor, Quinn tries to run into our hero and fails miserable, with Reacher reacting with a hose and allows Quinn to bend in pain before applying a much more intense method of removing the bad man.

After removing the hidden chisel from his personality, Reacher holds him in the Quinn's ear and does not stop pushing until the handle is shown. It is brutal, borderline disturbing and puts an end to Quinn in a much more barbaric way. As for the scenes of death, the impulses of a Reacher persist in the show is far more influential and more effective. In the book, we will not talk about it, there is no demand for Reacher that Quinn reveals why he visited this stranger for hugs with a resolution result. Then it makes sense that in the final of the show, much greater care was applied. In doing so, it strikes an emotional chord by making Reacher accomplishing his mission and making that last blow worth taking.

This season showed us a frightening side of ReacherBut the motivations that brought this side to the surface are totally valid. Quinn somehow avoided the penalty scholar who believes that he suits the man who has plagued and killed his friend, so in the last chapter of this season, he not only finally does what is needed, but reminds Quinn about the history they share together. It is the last moment of light weapons dealer lights that makes him feel much more rewarding and actually exceeds the original scene of death from the book "Detses".

By the time Reacher is finally trying to mark Quinn from his list of "persuader", he is exhausted by his long mission to the covert mission and the last pressure to eliminate his enemy's operation. As a result, Quinn's death did not land with greater weight or pleasure. The needle enters, and Quinn descends. That's the end of it. He emphasizes that regardless of its history, he was just another chore to finish Reacher. In the case of the show's version, he feels much more personal, mainly thanks to the performance of Alan Richson and the brilliant fourth episode of the season that revealed why he advocated Quinn in the first place. It also proves that on the rarest occasions, adding something extra to adaptation can sometimes pay far better than the source it takes. Way to go, reacher.
