Looking at the first production of "Snow White" it made it clear that the seven dwarfs would be displayed through the photorealistic CGI (see above), may not come as a shock that their portrait throughout the film is quite disturbing. The basic colorful designs of hand -drawn animated elves have long been gone, and their overlapping dialogue can often make it difficult to find out who the dwarf is. One of the exceptions is Martin Cleba, who is complaining and thus becomes recognizable during the film.
Of course, there is another obvious exception: touch. Each of the elves, though not called the one in the new movie, has a name that explains who are like people. Happy ... good, happy; Bashul is shy; Sleeping is tired all the time; And so on. Tap, as shown in the animated film, is cheerfully silly and mute, and somehow seems (deliberately) even more cartoon than others. In this film, the photorealistic version of Dopi, which looks disturbing as the mascot of the crazy magazine Alfred E. Neumann, it seems more like a child who chooses not to speak. (This, despite the random details that the elves were apparently alive for almost three centuries.)
As stated above, the film begins with a young male narrator, as it is expressed by Andrew Bart Feldman (the comedy of Ennenifer Lawrence "has no heavy feelings"). But that narrator is identified until the end of the film: it's a touch. And, even before the film clarified that touching tells the story of Snow White to a fan of the kingdom, touching the screen. Snow White, at one point, understands that can Talk, but avoids doing so because he is afraid of what can happen when he does. Leaving aside the fact that there is no explanation why he would be so scared, her confidence essentially encourages him to be brave.
Hence, according to the third act of the film, touch speaks almost (but not exactly) as much as his colleagues. This is a choice as unexplained as it is awkward and disturbing. It is similar to the film that decides that this time around, Bashfull is actually extremely arrogant and baked and self -confident, and its monique is an ironic small fever. It is not only that none of the other dwarfs have to have something to do with Snow White or that they change their personalities on the basis of being inspired by it. That is that the hearing about talking about touch is one of the most unusual choices that makes the film, because that is not what should happen.
That the new "Snow White" has many differences from "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" is far from shocking. The original 1937 is reckless one of the most influential films of all time, but it is also more than a basic template to build a future animated film. The original film is not perfect, and any remake should Attempt to do things differently. But there are some aspects of the story that can be considered untouchable; To change, it is not to gain controversy, but to invite a negative response in an easy and unnecessary way. Can you touch in the new version of this story? Surely. But why on the ground should he?
Snow White now plays in theaters.
