Streaming is a loose fulfillment of the role once the domestic video - to save bombs - the bombings of complete and extremely failure. Well, the number of streaming means nothing, the platforms do not have to report accurate viewing numbers, and even if they do so, they no longer provide the second financial life that can save films from total ruin as DVD did. With how fast the movies are struck after their initial theater release these days, many people are just waiting for a new movie to hit Netflix or other platform to see it instead of betting their money to be good and watch them in cinemas
Case in point, the strange, confusing case of "Kaven Hunter" is a great success of Netflix after being Terrible flop in box office in cinema. The film somehow had an even worse open weekend than "Madame Web", telling you everything you need to know about the level of enthusiasm The audience he had for another Spider-Man movie that doesn't show Spider-Man. The film failed to make an impression on the same weekend as "evil" and "Moana 2." The fact that it was a movie with a comic book with a rating of Rans, did absolutely nothing to attract viewers to go to theaters, especially when earlier that year, "Deadpool & Wolverine" was already a bombastic and very famous success.
It also does not help that the film is simply bad. In his review for /film, Whitney Seibard claims to have a charm in this film and have fun, but still concluded that the audience "does not have to take Kaven Hunter seriously as a permanent figure through many films. We can only watch it in a sucked movie and continue with our lives."
None of this matters, however, for Netflix buns. History repeats, and Just like "Madame Web" And Morbius in front of him, Kaven Hunter is now a hit on Netflix.
Knavian hunter is definitely ... movie
"Kraven the Hunter" denotes what seems to be The final nails in the casket of the Sony Spider-Man Universe. The great experiment to attempt to withdraw the film franchise "Spider-Man" that never, never, was spiderman, was very bold (and some would say a stupid) idea. Making a universe almost completely made by villains who were renamed as anticheroes was not an easy task, and for the most part, every film in the Sony Spider-Man universe was poorly received by critics and audiences.
This is a shame, because at least, the Universe of Sony Spider-Man seemed to be being built next to the right film "Sinister Six" where Spiderman could face a few of his most iconic villains on the big screen (without having to be a movie of an iron man for some reason). However, the movies were not really good, they rarely if they were ever connected to each other, and they never tease any confrontation with Spider-Man, and even gave their characters an attractive reason to want to fight him.
It is also a shame that "Kraven Hunter" will definitely not have any sequel, as this, from other films in this universe, was a very story of the origin of the Netflix Marvel vein. Kraven does this over 99% of the film before wearing his classic clothes, and even then, he is not really a big play. None of this matters to Netflix viewers who seem to run on their TVs, laptops and phones to watch this movie - which is certainly a little better when you enjoy adult drinks or adult tires.
