However, it is one of this writer's favorite films, and his 8.2 score based on 1.6 million ratings is a testimony to his quality as a movie in general, not just a Batman movie.

But "The dark knight is rising?" Of course, it's one of the most ambitious movies for superhero ever madeBut this is the most controversial from Christopher Nolan's dark knight trilogy. There is no doubt that the military epic story of Batman was an impressive achievement, but its shortcomings are well known and its 71 overall on the IMDB list remains suspicious at best (albeit with a score of 8.4 on the basis of 1.9 million ratings, I suppose it is difficult to argue with the IMDB consensus).
