The invincible season 3 introduced one of the strongest villains of the comic

Spoilers for "invincible" to follow.

The "invincible" finished his third and best season. The final of Season 3, "I thought you would never shut up", was a big note to worship, adapting a story every fan of the original "invincible" comic book.

Back in Season 2, Wiltrumit Anissa (Chantel Basanti) warned Mark Grayson (Steven Jun) If they did not start conquering the country, then someone would get worse to test the invertible name. Episode 7, "What did I do?" It concludes that someone else who arrives - conquest, the oldest of the Wiltumites and their second strongest warrior. It may not sound so impressive When do less than 50 wiltums remainBut conquest lives until Cecil's nickname for him: "Mr 10 times worse."

Conquering debuted in "invincible" editions #61-64; He has the signature Wiltrumatic mustachesBut he shows his age with a scar, bad eye, curved teeth and a golden cyber arm.

The design of Conquest takes an obvious inspiration from Thanos on Marvel Comics; For example, his artificial hand resembles infinity, minus glittering rainbow gems. (For what is worth, the "invincible" writer Robert Kirkman was 13 when the story of the signature of Thanos was published, published in "The Infinity Gauntlet" from 1991 - he was definitely not the only young comic book fan hit the story.)

The simple style of the show's show does not catch as a shooting and wrinkled Ryan Osli has attracted the conquest, but the rest of the episode makes the comic justice.

Based on walking, I was expecting the conquest to appear in the final of the "invincible" season 3. All this was confirmed during the setup of episode 6 for an "invincible war", when Anstrom Levy (Sterling K. Brown) allows to lose several malicious versions of Mark. As in the comic book, conquest appears exactly in the worst time; When the country is already recovering from the previous invasion of Wiltrumit.

But it's not just a question of walking the show based on the comic book. The arrival of Conquest connects the season well together. The "invincible" season 3 began with Mark and Cecil (Walton Gogins), and the second reveals how scared that Mark cannot be contained. The season is now finished first with literally malicious versions of Mark, and then another unlimited Wiltrumit. "Conquest" is a name that has a similar ring as "invincible", however, is the opposite: one is to grind the others under the heel, while the other is to support each attack. Hence, the final of the season 3 is testing whether it can withstand the power of conquest.
