While Damjan Darkblood generally goes out on the side of the good in season 1, it is difficult not to read this scene as incredibly evil. If he talks about Mark, the referral to "Black Heart" is particularly interesting. Does he mean that the invincible is already descending to the point where he could be controlled through hellish magic, perhaps through his new relationship with the murder? Or, does he mean that the process of approaching him under the "Great Bevere" will spoil his heart? In any case, it doesn't sound wonderful for invincible. And since there is no precedent for this story in comics, it is impossible to say exactly what Darkblood planned.

It is also worth noting that this new demonic character is expressed by Bruce Campbell - an actor whose importance in the horror genre suggests that some dark works are coming.
