The canceled TV series “Jura Park” collected where the classic first film was left

These days, "Jura Park" is a mass franchise for media With a few theater films and even more to come. In addition to Michael Creekton's films and original novels, there were numerous video games and a popular animated series of Netflix, "Jura World: Camp Cretas". What you may not know is that Camp Cretaus was not the first time anyone tried to turn "Jura Park" into a small screen cartoon. In fact, a much earlier attempt was made in the 1990s, around the time when the first film "Jura Park" hit theaters (though never made it in full production).

For many years, the details of this project have been kept secret. However, the old decks on the ground, stories and concept art treatments came out little by little, published by places such as Jurassic outpost. The show, which had a working title "Escape from the Jurassic Park", was ambitious to say at least, and it is not difficult to see why she never did it on the screen. However, it is also fascinating "what if?" To look back now, especially given how the rest of the property is.

Supported by a veteran of cartoons in the 1980s, William Stit and artist William Stit, among others, will gather immediately after the end of the "Jurassic Park" and had many the same characters (all as they expanded the story in different ways). Certain aspects of that, extracted from the books of Cricketon, were included in Later Jura moviessuch as the influence of rival rival Biosin and the escape of many dinosaurs into the mainland.

Escape from Jura Park would have been an important animated series

According to William Stit, who was a key member of the creative team behind "Escape from the Jurassic Park" (and claims to have a unposted trailer for the show), the Universal Cartoon Studio was aimed at creating an animated series that broke cartoon barriers at the time. It would be easy to make a children's show for children in order to sell toys and make money for the enormous success of the original Jurassic Park. After all, the franchise had already had a huge trade arm, and it was basically a model for adventurous film-to-cardton-pipe from the 80's and early 90's.

Instead, the goal was to make a show that adults liked, as well as children, merging the "graphic novel" of traditional animation with "quite a bit of CG", according to Stit. The series would also be broadcast in the article, additionally cementing the intention to capture a wide audience.

Even today, it is difficult to find a prominent animated series aimed at adult audience outside streaming. The notion of premature, all ages "Jura Park" TV series in the 90's would have been incredibly ambitious. At the same time, the fact that it was animated would help cope with certain problems on how to rewrite the stars of the original film and bring their visual visual high-concepts. In the end, it is not difficult to see why the "escape from the Jurassic Park" has not been done, but it is still a shame, given how influential.

What would happen in the canceled TV -Show of Jura Park?

According to the stories reported by Jura Outpost, the first season of "Escape from the Jurassic Park" would see Biosin, the rival of Ingon Hammond, who is trying to steal its DNA samples in the original film, creating its own theme. "Dinouold" would have been very similar to Jura Park, and you could also easily attract comparisons with Jurassic World from the second film trilogy.

Of course, this ultimately leads to the emergence of dinosaurs - the two types of Jura Park film and new - in South America, leading to widespread chaos. Main characters like Hammond, Eli Satler, Ian Malcolm and Alan Grant would also appear (though given their starvet power of their original actors, they would probably have been processed with cheaper voice talent).

Whether the bun, which Universal developed the series, cut the teeth of big cartoons in the 1980s as "Real Ghosts", "Gio Oeo" and "Captain Planet", so he brought a lot of experience in the project. However, that attractive concept was not enough to push the show. While "Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous" has become a huge success Decades later, it is quite standard animated children's show, despite the expansive, initial series that "Escape from the Jurassic Park" was supposed to be.
