As they can tell Disney's affysiado, the eighties of the last century were a rough time for the company's animation department. The least Disney used the modest hit next year with the "big mouse detective", a $ 25m hit from the $ 14 million budget. That film was a story about Sherlock Holmes, but assumed that Holmes 'apartment was home to anthropomorphic mouse named Basil (Bari Ingam), a clever creature who, in Holmes', became a starvet mouse detective. His Watson was a mouse named Dawson (Val Betin), and his Moriarti was a rat named Ratigan (Vincent Price). "The Great Detective of the Mouse" had much in common with "Rescuers", another film of heroic anthropomorphic mice (starred by Bob Huhart and Eve Gabor) living in the human world. Seeing how the two biggest Disney hits in the decade were for heroic mice, it was considered the reason that rescuers should meet the great mouse detective at some point. Unfortunately, the idea was too ambitious for Disney in the 1980s era, but was eventually developed in a TV series, as artist and director Tom Calfield reveals on his Twitter account/x account. The series, called "Society of Rescue Help", was developed in the late 2010, but was extremely abolished.

According to Calelfield tweets - and the accompanying art she showed with her - "Society of Rescue Help" will be a Disney version of "Mission: Impossible" or "Kingsman: The Secret Service". Miss Bianca, the image of Eve Gabor from "Rescuers", was supposed to serve as a rose chief, appearing only on video screens to release her team missions. One of the drawings has a mouse with a hairstyle, dressing DeEverstalker, looking a lot like basil. This character was supposed to be one of the relatives of Basil, a child or maybe granddaughter. Caulfield set the series in Disney along with Bill Moc and Bob Roth, the creators of "Spirit and Molly McGee".

Unfortunately, "Rescue Help Society" was rejected because - he theorized in his tweets - Disney already had another similar project in the works. It seems that Disney's "Chip" film "Chip" from 2022: Rangers Rangers is already rounding the rodent spies. He did not see "rescue rangers", but it seems logical that Disney would not want to double with the revival of the chip and Dale at the same time as both the "rescuers" and the "great mouse detective".

Of course, "rescuers" received their sequel in 1990 called "Rescuers Under". Basil of the "Great Detective of the Mouse" did not become widespread in Disney marketing, but his archival, Ratigan, appeared in Disney's auxiliary projects, boards and specialists for Halloween, so there is a contingent of people who know at least. It certainly helps that he played the inexpressible Vincent Price, a celebrated actor and associate of Tim Burton (He almost played Santa Claus in "Nightmare before Christmas").

Disney will bounce off the "Black Kazan" with "The Little Mermaid", a film considered an introductory salvo of the Disney Renaissance.
