Well, it was wild, right? Chicai Bardo throws his hat into the ring for The most important episode of the "Season" Season 2 by finally discovering what is going on Mark Scout (Adam Scott) Wife Gema (Dichen Lachman). We already knew she was still alive and works in Lumon's cut under the identity of the company for wellness adviser Ms Casey. However, there is so, much more.

As with everything related to Lumon, things are not great with her ... but there was no way to know how bad her condition was. In short, Gema is trapped in hell. In fact, various hells - what seems to be her real work is effectively closed in a mysterious part of the Lumon complex, and its multiple infiors are forced to spend all their existence in what is, from their point of view, in the same room. She is infinitely stuck in the unpleasant loops "Day on Earth" as if going to the dentist or has to write countless gratitude cards for the horrible Christmas gifts.

It is a terrible condition, and while we can assume whether she stepped into this experiment voluntarily or whether she was deceived, forced or completely abducted, it is quite clear to see that Gemma does not enjoy herself. But at the very least, her condition offers some answers to the first and most durable mystery of the show: what exactly does the macro refining department do?

All Gemma premises should be visited by some still unknown names of sharing the files with the file markings and the rest of the Macrodata refining team (MDR). For example, the Christmas gift response room that seems to be particularly uncomfortable is called Alentown. This is also the name of Mark's Novak Fluk file, which solved it in record time and for which he received a crystal head as a reward. The other rooms we see include Tumwater, Cairns and Dranesville, which are also MDR file names. We even notice the terrible cold port, which is a room that Gemma has not yet visited and also works a very important file mark.

As such, the work of the MDR team must be directly related to the things that happen to Gema and its various intra. Until now, we have made us understand that the files and emotions they choose are related to the concept of Kier Egan's four Temperes - unfortunate, frozen, fear and malice. Doctor (Robbie Benson) who oversees Gema also specifically asks if it feels similar emotions (despair, mourning and boring), suggesting that the importance of experiments is to make it feel the emotions the MDR team uses to refine the appropriate files.

For a show that is usually proud of being a Trippi-uhte-breederThe amount of "Chicai Bardo" exposure lies on the table, but confirms that whatever happens, the efforts of the MDR team are essentially tied to Gema's suffering. Moreover, her relationship with Mark seems to be a key component in Lumon's non-doubtful plans.
