The process of adapting a popular novel to a movie or streaming series is fraught with potential danger. Readers who love the source material are likely to have very specific thoughts on how to play in the visual medium and most importantly, the actors should show their favorite characters. Any deviation from what worked on the site will be seen with huge skepticism, if not completely rage. Take, for example, the case of Daniel Craig to be thrown like the Jamesesheims Bond.
