Avatar: The last Airbender remains one of the best and most influential American animated series of all time. It's a fantastic show with a flawless world building, complex themes, strong characterization and epic narrative - not to mention, a series that Mark Hamil, who expressed the Ozai Fire Path, once called "too smart" to be successful. And yet, the show became a hit, lasted three seasons, and even got a series of sequels in "Legend of Cora". Original creators Brian Konicko and Michael Dante Dimartino are returning for a new series titled "Avatar: Seven Shelters", which will continue the cycle and bring us back to the country's element with a brand new avatar. Is it a raven, the spirit that allows the avatar to fold all the elements, to split between the twins? Should only one twin be an avatar? We'll find out fast enough.

Now, apparently the most intriguing aspect of this new series (and the one that begs to dissect and analyze) is the fact that the play is set after the collapse of civilization. What happened to the hell? We know that peel deals with many events that change in the world, including the opening of the ghost portals that allow spirits to start moving into the physical world, but how does it lead to the end of humanity as we know it? Was that was something he did? Or, the world is already heading to the apocalypse and this is exactly what the crust could save? After all, the "Legend of the Cora" Season 4 has already introduced nuclear plants in Avatarvers (The bad policy of "peel" is a discussion by itself), so it is possible that a new villain finished it all.

I hesitate because the "legend of the peel" was a great show, but also the one who suffered from a lot of vitrebi and hatred.
