On April 28, 2011, Michael Scott quietly left Skranton, Steve Karel said a goodbye to the "office". And the world was never the same again. Of course, both the actor and his character fell into the final of the series a few years later, but it was a whaling of what it was than it was supposed to come. In many ways, the character of Karel was a glue that held the ridicule together. From his antagonistic, sinful early years to his more complex (but still sinful) later, Michael collected his employees together in a common Loveube, collectively weight loss and every emotion between. And then he was gone.

Different reports on Karel's latest moments at the Office tend to tell different sides of the story. For example, Boom operator Brian Whitl and hairstyle Kim Ferry came out in the past to make similar claims that suggest that Karel actually didn't want to leave. According to Wittl, the lead actor accidentally hinted that he was thinking of going in an interview, and that did not cause much response from the powers in Ann -Bi. The crew member explained:

"They didn't call and said, 'What? You want to leave? ' He said he had not received any response from them. Do other things. ''

Ferry said, point blank:

"(Karel) did not want to leave the show. He told the net that he would sign a few more years. He was ready and his agent was ready. But for some reason, they didn't do it contact. I don't know if that It was a game of chicken or what. "

It is also worth noting that there was a change in the executive leadership at the same time. Since the Universal President and CEO of the NBC, Effef Zacker was replaced by Bob Greenblatt, there may have been an element of "cracking cracks" that made Karel's continued involvement with the "office" even less. Carl described the difficulty of going to the "office" at that moment. Filming the last moments of Michael Scott's mandate as a regional manager of Dander Miflin's "Scranton" branch was difficult, emotionally speaking. But it was also a moment to celebrate-and a chance for his bigger character of life to step away and leave others in the show's ensemble to shine. As Karel said:

"For me there was joy for that, you know, when you cry with joy. Because it wasn't even sad. Because I was ready. I was ready to go. So I wasn't sad about leaving (..) It was time for other characters to step up At the forefront and other stories to follow.

He added that his goodbye to the show also gave him a chance to have various species, like Michael with his employees and as Karel with his associates:

"At the same time, there is only a sense of joy for me that we have experienced all this and we got ... I got a chance to take a lap with everyone. And the way they were structured those last two episodes, felt very rich in me at the same time to say goodbye like Michael and us as friends at this point of work together.

Emotions climbed to the fans, who spent the next two seasons of the "office" who processed his departure. The play steadily descended in the grades, for the most part, as Michael's size hole became increasingly evident. But by then, there was nothing to do for it. Karel was gone, Mindy Kaling left shortly afterwards, And so BJ Novak (both of much less chances). The show moved without more members of his team as he headed for his last episodes two short seasons later.
