When it comes to the west on the small screen, few are as iconic as Norman McDonnell and Johnon Paston's "Gunsmoke". Based on the radio drama of the same name, the show debuted on CBS in 1955 and became one of the longest television series on television in American television history, producing over 600 episodes. While the show embarks on other locations from time to time, Melody Ranch is the site that was most often connected during the early years, especially for shooting outdoor shots.

According to Jameseims Ares in an interview with SCTVIt was a very integral part of "Gunsmoke", and he has beautiful memories of work there. "For the first few years, we have done most of our work outdoors right there in Melody Ranch. It was such a great place. " Accordingly, the actor also received his award for a walk on the Western stars there in 2006, which also happened to coincide with the Cowboy Festival.

Melody Ranch is a convincing border recreation and over the years, there has been a hotspot for hosting cowboy themes. Similar to "Paramount Ranch", the Nsonson Canyon area boasts a stage background that covers large hills and wild terrain that catch the cruel on the American border. Also, it was a noticeable film and a TV during the day, home to various wooden buildings modeled on cowboy hot spots annually.

These days, Nsonson Canyon is a tourist destination, but the old set is not open to the public. Anyway, the Gunsmoke fans who want to check will be able to see it from a nearby path, and it's better than nothing, right?
