To sweeten the deal, "Heart Eyes" has two charming, delightful waters in Olivia Holt and Mason Gooding, who play an unmatched couple just trying to live overnight while masked killer Hack. . There is a lot to love here. And yet ... "Heart Eyes" end up feeling a little inert. I had fun with most of this trembling, but from the moment the third act turned around and some characters began to shake seemingly endless monologues, I felt my eyes glued. It also does not help that the film seems to be completely disinterested in what is frightening. When it comes to this horror Roma, "heart eyes" are difficult at Roma-Com and is extremely light on the horror.

After a fun, glorious prologue, "heart eyes" reveals that in the last two years, a serial killer known as the killer of "Heart Eyes" (or hack for a brief) terrorized couples on the day of the U. The moments of setting up "heart eyes" work as gangbasters, and it helps Holt and Gooding make a pair of charming waters. They have a wonderful back and fourth pitter and legitimate long -term chemistry. Especially Gooding is so smooth, funny and enjoyable here that I left the film wanting to see it in more things, immediately (seriously, make this man a starvet). Early moments when Ali and Jayej are getting to know and start to get in, just to be interrupted by heart eyes are the best of the film. Indeed, although I am a horror boy, I must say that horror elements are the least interesting things for "heart eyes". I found myself that I want this to be just a Roma-coming self-inability it doesn't need a faster angle. It certainly does not help that the film seems to be rapidly entering the road.

After Ali and Jayei find themselves at the intersections of the heart, "heart eyes" begin to turn their wheels. You have the feeling that the directors did not think about it, they had a great placement (Roma-Com driver), but they didn't know where to take it. As a result, the narrative begins to hang strongly. Repeatability is set in: Jayej and Ali move to one location, chase, see people killing, repeating. To equipping things, the film throws into two unclean police officers - unclean Hobbes (Devon Sava) and Lovelorn Shaw (Jordana Brewster), and yes, the film makes a flat joke for their names to be Hobbes and what do I know, like the movie? Even in short 97 minutes, "heart eyes" end too long, as an idea for a short film, stretching to length.

"Heart Eyes" is firm enough to have fun. The land of jokes, lead is great, and the romantic story is surprisingly sweet-I fully believed that Jayej and Ali fall for each other, which is not an easy feat (if you don't believe me, you just know there are about 100 made for-grooving Roma-comi where the two waters together have absolutely zero chemistry). The direction of Ruben keeps everything together well, and the killings were probably illegal (intentional) laughter of the crowd.

And yet, until the "heart eyes" reaches its final, it all feels something forgotten. I am glad that the new films for the weakness continue to arrive, and I give credit "heart eyes" for trying to mix Roma-Coms with horror. But as the fully awkward third act of the film arrives and gives us a very obvious answer to the identity of the heart, the excitement is gone. However, as the counter-program of the day of the Wine Utensens goes, "heart eyes" have its own appeal.
