The Simpsons is probably the largest animated series in history. Similarly, "Cheers" is almost certainly one of the biggest live sites with action at all times. But what would happen if these two worlds meet? This question was answered briefly (and funny) once in 1994 when Homer Simpson stumbled into the most famous bar in TV history. However, during his journey there, a certain voice was absent from the actions - namely, the one of the Kelsey Grammer, who has been playing Sidashow Bob since the earliest days of the Simpsons.

Grammer, of course, also played by Cheers Crane before he eventually led the very successful spin-off "Frasier". However, he did not borrow his voice to the crossover. It happened during the episode "Fear of Flying", that was broadcast as part of Simpsons 6 Season 6. The main plot of the episodes includes Homer to be given free aircraft tickets just to discover that Marge has a fear of flying. As such, the therapist is written to help Marge win her fear.

The episode opens up by Homer's banned from mine, resulting in what he needs to find a new drinking bar. His search is taken to various irrigation holes, from Rititic institutions to the bar exclusively for pilots, which is bridged into the main story of the episode. During his journey, Homer also stumbles into a familiar establishment, where everyone knows your name.

At that time, Grammar was in the middle of his 10 -season -long Frasier race. Although he was already part of the Simpsons family like Sidshaw Bob, he was too busy when the episode was developing to shoot any lines like Frasier Crane.
