Kate Hudson's Fiancé Danny Fujikawa Helps 'Put Out Spot Fire' In LA

Kate Hudson revealed that her fiancé, Danny Fujikawadid not Evacuate Los Angeles with their families, choosing instead to stay back to help control smaller "spot fires".

"I went back to the palisade for the first time and it was a very intense day," Hudson, 45, shared in a personal update with the 6-year-old on Thursday, Jan. 23, via an Instagram Story video. We're in the middle of a lot of our friends and loved ones … they've lost their homes and their jobs. We're definitely trying to support our community."

Hudson also thanked first responders for their tireless efforts Put out the fire last month

"And (thanks) to all the neighbors — like Daddy and Uncle Michael — who stayed behind to put out the fire," he added. “So many brave people are fighting to protect us and we are so grateful. It checked us in. Love you guys.”
