Captioning his video, Flav also challenged "EVERYONE to come together" to help, not just black artists, musicians and creatives. He added a link to the fundraiser in his bio. according to PEOPLEthe artist's efforts will house Black families displaced by the Eaton Fire in the neighborhoods of Altadena and Pasadena.

"Come, let's make LA strong... And let's help those in need. Come with your boy Zapore in this campaign," he added.

GoFundMe commented on Flavor Flav's post, writing, "Always use your platform to help others." Other comments from fans included prayer hands, flames and red hearts. At press time, it had raised $55,161 of a $100,000 goal with amplification from Community Aid Dena, AFROPUNK and WalkGood LA. It's part of the fundraising a unified directory among families who need help.
