Bhad Bhabiewhose real name is Danielle Bregoli, recently opened up about getting a nose job while battling cancer, addressing the backlash surrounding her decision.

The rapper rose to fame after her viral performance in 2016 on "Dr. Phil" and has since built a career in music and modeling. In December 2023, she posed for Marc Jacobs while pregnant with her daughter Kali Love, whom she welcomed with boyfriend Le Vaughn in March 2024.

Since then, Bhad Bhabie has been embroiled in many controversial incidents, the latest being her decision to get a nose job.

The 21-year-old shared the news of her nose job on Instagram Stories on Tuesday, January 21, along with candid details about her experience and health journey.

In the posts, she revealed that she opted for a cosmetic procedure to "remove the bump" on her nose. She posted before-and-after photos, including a selfie taken six days after surgery, showing visible bruising around her eyes.

"Day 6! Nose jobs are not for the faint of heart!" she wrote over the picture, in which she posed in a black tank top and matching shorts, with short and curly hair.

Bhad Bhabie immediately faced criticism for undergoing cosmetic surgery in the midst of cancer treatment. In response, she posted two text updates defending her choice.

For starters, she assured critics that her procedure was approved by her doctor, pointing out that it is possible to undergo plastic surgery while having cancer.

"I don't know who told you that you can't have surgery when you have cancer," she wrote. "The doctor approved me. Take care of the job that pays you."

She continued: “Lying about plastic surgery is a problem, and clearly telling the truth about having it is, too. I chose to be open with you about what I did, and (people) still make a problem out of it. You are all crazy.”

The "Guicci Flip Flops" rapper also addressed rumors about her health, revealing in a separate video that she had been diagnosed with blood cancer: "Y'all (you) are so worried about me and you don't even know what kind of cancer I have! It's not breast cancer - those are rumours."

She further explained that her elevated white blood cell count indicates certain blood cancers or bone marrow disorders.

"I'm sorry the cancer drugs made me lose weight," she wrote in an Instagram Story at the time. “I'm slowly bringing it back. So stop running with the worst stories.”

Bhad Bhabie's mom, Barbara Bregoli, fiercely defended her daughter against accusations that she faked her cancer diagnosis in an Instagram video. "How dare you?" she said of one particular hater. “I pray to God that one of your children never gets cancer. I had it twice. How dare you say my daughter is faking this, you vile piece of shit.”

Bhad Bhabie recently shared her excitement about her upcoming EP, highlighting her creative growth and newfound autonomy in the industry. “The single is definitely all me, and we had so much fun making the music video,” she said.

She opened up about the challenges of being a young artist in the music industry, especially in her early days at the record label. “When you're signed, they only think about hits and marketing, especially because I was so young. I didn't have many choices or a strong voice," she revealed.

Now, at 21, she embraces her independence. "I'm older now. I understand the game now. I will tell the producers and music executives what songs I want and how I want them to sound.”
