"On the advice of his doctor, due to illness, it is with sincere regret that Sting must cancel his appearance at the Bass Magazine Awards this Thursday," read a statement shared by the 73-year-old singer via Instagram on Tuesday, January 21.
Sting will accept the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Bass Magazine Awards on Thursday, January 23 in Santa Ana, California. He is currently STING 3.0 concert tour, and two dates have been pushed into the summer.
