the comedian Ron Funchess found a friend Travis Kelce last year — and now she's sharing insight into her friend's beloved personality.

Funches, 41, posted a clip from his Dec. 1, 2024 gig at a comedy club in Kansas City. Instagram On Sunday, January 19, revealed that she is a major fan of Kells, 35. The pair first clicked when Funches appeared as a guest star Are you smarter than celebrities?Hosted by Kelce, last October.

"I started doing this game show ... and it's hosted by Travis Kelce," Funchess is seen telling the crowd in the video. “We started to be friendly, you know? And then he knew I was out doing shows for Thanksgiving week and he hit me up on Instagram and he was just like, 'Hey man, are you coming to my town, let me know if you need anything.'

Labeling the Kansas City Chiefs' tight end "a golden retriever of a man," Funches explained how Kelce invited him to attend an NFL game while in town.

Funches explained, “He's a good guy. He's a good friend and he didn't get our tickets (but) an hour and a half before the game, I get another little ding on my phone. He was just like, 'Hey man, I'm getting ready to go into game mode, I'm going to turn off my phone but before I do, I want to make sure you're okay.'

Kelce's check in finally impressed Funches. “You are Prince Charming Ma. He is amazing, he is a golden savior of a man. Maybe that's why he's so good at football. He's just like, sees the ball and, 'I've got to go get it.'

Funch's praise for Kells was extended in the caption of his post, which read, "The rumor is true...@Killatrave is a good friend."
