The couple claims the release of the explosive video violates court rules and is part of a revenge campaign by Baldoni's team.
Blake Lively has since broken her silence about the video, with her lawyers saying it shows her being abused and touched unwantedly by Justin Baldoni.

According to TMJthe pair argue that Freedman's actions, including publicly sharing the footage, violate court rules "that prevent an attorney from making statements to the press that are irrelevant to the case and could prejudice the jury."
In their court filing Tuesday, they accused Freedman of orchestrating a media campaign designed to harass and discredit them, citing the release of unedited footage as a key example.

Justin Baldoni drops gag order request as Blake Lively's team considers 'Damning' video

However, sources close to Baldoni expressed frustration with Lively's request for a gag order, saying Daily Mail that it was "grossly unfair" given the consequences he faced.
According to sources, Baldoni lost three business opportunities and hundreds of millions of dollars after what they describe as defamatory allegations he published The New York Times.
"All Justin wants is to release videos and text messages to prove the allegations are false," sources said.
They added: "It's unbelievable that Blake Lively would start a campaign to get Justin removed and then immediately turn around and say she wants a gag order so Justin can't defend himself."

Blake Lively claims that the released video confirms her allegations of sexual harassment

Meanwhile, Lively responded to the unedited clip. Her legal team issued a statement to the publication calling the release of the video a "trick" intended to overshadow the incriminating evidence against Baldoni.
They claim that "the video itself is damning", as it shows Baldoni "repeatedly leaning in towards Ms Lively, trying to kiss her, kissing her forehead, rubbing her face and mouth against her neck, thumbing her lips, caressing her, telling her how good she smells and talking to her out of character.”
Lively's team added that "every frame of the released video corroborates, to the letter, what Ms. Lively described in paragraph 48 of her complaint."

Blake Lively's legal team accuses Justin Baldoni of impromptu intimacy and public manipulation

Lively's lawyer emphasized that none of the intimate moments captured in the released footage, which was directed by Baldoni, was choreographed or pre-approved.
"Every moment of this was improvised by Mr. Baldoni without prior discussion or consent, and without the presence of an intimacy coordinator," the lawyer explained. "Mr. Baldoni was not only Ms. Lively's co-star, but also director, studio head and Ms. Lively's boss."
Her legal team went on to argue that Lively's visible discomfort in the scene was not acting, pointing to moments where she leaned away from Baldoni and "repeatedly asked that the characters just talk."
"Any woman who has been touched inappropriately in the workplace will recognize Ms. Lively's discomfort," the statement said. “They will recognize her flippant attempts to try to ward off unwanted touching. No woman should have to take defensive measures to avoid being touched by an employer without their consent.”
The team accused Baldoni of using the video's release as "another example of an unethical attempt to manipulate the public" saying it was "a continuation of their campaign of harassment and retaliation."
"We continue our efforts to hold Mr. Baldoni and his associates to account in court, under oath, and not through contrived media ploys," Lively's attorney concluded.

Released footage disputes Blake Lively's claims in her lawsuit against Justin Baldoni

In her civil rights lawsuit filed last month, Lively claimed no one heard the alleged comment that upset her because the romantic editing scene was silent, with the microphones turned off.
However, as The Blast reports, news outlets have obtained video footage that reveals Baldoni's sound equipment was active during the recording. The clips, which capture all three takes, give a different picture of the dynamics on set.
The video shows Lively and Baldoni appearing friendly and carefree in the scene as they slow dance.
They are seen joking about what to do at the moment while discussing how they spend time with their spouses.
The unedited clip includes the full context of the commentary at about seven minutes. As they film the dance scene, Lively brings up her tan and Baldoni playfully responds.

He jokes that he could grow a beard on her, to which Lively replies that she's probably leaving him with a spray tan.
Baldoni then remarks, "Smells good," causing them both to laugh before Lively explains that the smell is actually from her body makeup.
Although the scene shows Baldoni nuzzling Lively's neck as part of their roles as romantic partners, their interaction behind the scenes feels professional. Most of their conversations focus on lighting settings and their personal lives.
The raw footage, along with audio, was shared by Baldoni's production company Wayfarer and his attorney Bryan Freedman. Freedman reiterated that Baldoni "has nothing to hide."
